Wow. Is she hiding from Ron, not wanting him to see her scar?
Good heavens, what has happened to Hermione? It's obvious that physical survival is not the problem.
Heartbreaking. This just makes you ache for him.
Well begun. Looking forward to more.
This is the Snape I like. I think they can help each other. And what a cat!
Great story. Can't wait til the next update.
I'm wrapping myself up in this story. Keep up the good work!
I want a cat like Crookshanks.
This story is irresistible. I'll be waiting for more.
Finally, some praise from Severus! I'm so glad that he's warming up to her. Good job!
I like that last line! She DID do well. I am by nature a cautious person and I would have done the same thing, set up a house in the middle of Muggle-land (the location of which no one could steal from my freinds' minds with Legilimency or torture.)

*nods* Given that all of the magically protected places seem to fail miserably, I'd want something mundane.
I'm not a big fan of drabbles. I'm happy you put a few together. I usually stop reading hundred-word chapters when they take longer to load than to read. But I like this, or I wouldn't be reviewing, let alone going on to chapter two. Thanks for sharing these understandably traumatized souls.
wow, praise! He must be unwell!
Having Snape compliment her just might be the thing that helps her relax and adjust to life after a war. She certainly respects him enough to actually listen to what he says.
nice structure. Sometimes less is more!
Chicken soup for the soul, perhaps?

In that case, I think we'd better order Snape a few tubfulls, don't you think?
He's fairly ambivalent about not being found isn't he?
Hi there,I like the story so far.In this version of events has Harry not seen the memories? Just cuirous why he wouldnt care and why Severus would be facing imprisonment.Pansycat

I'm trying to keep it as canon as possible. Still, we're looking at it from Severus' point of view, and he hasn't much idea of what's happened since he was 'killed' except that the good guys must've won. He does know that people like a scapegoat, and he's a prime candidate for both sides. And he's anything but an optimist.

But at the time you mention Harry not seeming to care,it was from Hermiones point of view. She says that itdidnt seem important to Mcgonagall or Harry. But from your reply I understand that you weren't refering to how Harry felt about it anyway.Great story!
does he stay or does he go? i vote for stay - more story that way. time will tell. lovely as always.
I love how you use so few words to convey so much emotion. Good job!
The benefit of familiars... Maybe Severus will realize now that she isn't a child but rather a young adult.

Excellent story. I love that she asks Crookshanks to find him, brilliant.

Interesting idea, and well done!
Spare, informative and elegant:) I love it:) Your words have the grace of oriental paintings, or a zen garden. Peaceful, yet with a great deal of depth:)Warm regards and thank you for a wonderful read:)Fizzabella
wasn't bubo the name of the owl from that rediculous fantasy movie with the claymation creatures? Jason and the Argonauts, I think?
