A published Aussie author for a number of years now, I decided to dabble in the waters of HP fanfic for the first time. I hope my stories are acceptable.

Alison, so very poignant again. Your stories are very humane and powerful. Draco's remorse genuine and horrors of his real world ever present. I'm glad that he had found it in himself to atone. May he have his redemption for what he has done.

! Nice to hear from you again. I've only ever written one Draco fic before, I think, and that was a drabble, so when the Muse attacked me with this one, I thought I'd give it a go! I didn't want to reveal the narrator's true identity until right at the end. I'm glad you liked the story.BTW, if you like my stories, you might like one of my recent ones over on Fanfic.net. It's not a HP fanfic, but don't let that put you off - I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Be warned, though, it's very long, at 22 chapters. And there's quite a lot of "unusual" sexual depictions in it (along with true love! I'm a sap for romance!) from around Chapter Four. ! A lot of my original stories are short, and published in periodical magazines. My novels (I think; haven't checked in a while!) can be bought at Amazon. However, if you like, I could send you a copy of my novel "Androgyny", as I have a few left from from the batch my publisher gave me. Also, I could email some of my original shorts to you, if you'd like. I write sci-fi, fantasy, childrens, you name it, I've probably written it!Let me know if any of those options appeal to you. *sob*That's so sad. . . *sniffle* Poor Hermione. . . and poor Draco, having to live with what he did. . . I'd hate to be both of them. . . but the story was amazing. I'm thrilled to be the first to review this amazing (and creepy) tale. Your use of, and twisting of, the end of the book is incredible. Very clever and original treament of the end of book 7. ---You brought your plot elements in so cleverly! You have us guessing at the identity of the narrator, and wondering what had happened to Hermione to put her in the hospital. And then you introduce the creepier aspects of the plot. Very well done. Thank you for writing this!

Ooh, five stars! Thanks for that rating! I'm really glad you enjoyed the story; I was a bit worried that I might be giving too much of the narrator's real identity away too soon, as well. But when my beta was reading it for errors, she said she thought at first that the narrator might have been Snape, since he's one of my favourite characters to write. Fooled her! Thanks for your comments, it's feedback on my stories that make the hobby of fanfic writing so much fun!Alison

Yes, you fooled me too; I was thinking Harry or Snape. You did such a good job slowly revealing the circumstances of Hermione's hospitalization.
