Agoraphobia – The abnormal fear of being helpless in a situation from which escape may be difficult that is characterized initially by panic or anxiety and finally by avoidance of open or public places. As a result, severe suffers of agoraphobia may become confined to their homes, experiencing difficulty traveling from this “safe place.”

I'm really getting into this story. I'm beginning to hope that Peri's father isn't Severus because I don't want him to be the one that's doing this to her. My (optimistic) theory at this point is: The man responsible for this is a Death Eater and Severus is going to be the one to help her heal. Though, with the black hair and the meticulous care being given to Hermione, it's looking suspicious. I'm trusting you to give us a very good reason if it was Snape who did this to her.

Oh I want more!!!!!!!!!!!!! And honestly, I didn't think this was that dark, but then again, I like really dark things... Will all hell hit the fan when they find out who the father is??? Yikes! Waiting for more!

It's not terribly dark, but the subject material can be touchy, and it will get darker before it gets better.
Oh god! Can you just imagine being locked away for so long thinking that, then the banging on the door and... oh god... she must have been so scared!!!!!

I have a few phobias myself. There are days when all I want to do is hide in my house, so I know how she feels.

I'm not trying to be pushy or anything, so please don't take it as such. I'm wondering, has this story been abandoned? I keep seeing it on my watch list but no updates and it's been a few months. So, I am just curious.Thanks so much for all your work. It's very well written and pulls me right in.

Oh please be pushy. It helps, really. It has not been abandoned. I am working on it. But every thing I put on paper seems, I don't know, stupid. I am also on a deadline with another story, so I spend most of my time on it. Keep pushing. I will try to get the next chapter out soon. Thanks for not giving up on it.
