I am just a fan who likes to tell stories.I don't pretend to be an author and I may not even be very good at it, but I enjoy it. It gives me a break from real life.
Reviews for Agoraphobia
Stumbled upon this today, and it's brilliantly written. It's been nearly 10 years since you last updated...but I would love to know how the story ends. Even if you published rough drafts of the last few chapters, I think we'd all appreciate reading them.
loved the story, wish it were completed
ITS BEEN YEARS.............THIS IS A GOOD STORY PLWASE DONT LEAVE US IN WONDER.
I never knew that this story existed but now that I do, I'm hooked!! Please post more soon!

I am glad you found it. The next chapter is giving me some problems but I hope to have it up soon. Thanks for the review.
Wow! This story was fresh (though dark). I was surprised and glad when the villan was not Snape. I didn't want to stop reading, and was disappointed when I reached then end of what was posted. I do hope you will pick it back up.

It is not abandoned just have too much on my plate at the moment. I hope to update sometime soon. Thank you for reviewing. I am glad you like it.
Good job. Constructing a back story is not easy.

Thanks
Quite a good chapter with the good guys showing some cracks.

Thank you
From a narrative point of view, I think the interaction between the 'good guys' in the first part is too smooth. The chapter is redeemed by the last section.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
hmm, I'll have to review it.
Dangit. I've read the end of available chapters. This was a great read. The drama and flow of plot-development was perfect. Looking forward to the next update!
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Thanks, I'm still working on it.
Great twist at the end of this chapter. The simple or 'obvious' identity of Hermione's tormentor pointed to Severus.
I would have still read this (and enjoy it XD) if it was. So far this is great.

The original story had severus as the bad guy, but he didn't want to play that role and I rewrote it. maybe someday I will post the original, it's already finished.
Pobrecito. I'm wondering if Mot really did go insane, or if he had some sort of sinister scheme/command instigating his attack on Scorpius. I'm also curious as to what's going on with the girls. Poor Perdita. Talk about the ultimate in confusion, Hello my dear, magic is real and you can do it but your parents can't, on and by the way, your real parents were both physically and psychologically tortured and may be insane, we're not sure yet. Have fun at Hogwarts!Eesh. That poor girl.Fabulous chapter by the way. It hadn't occured to me at all that Draco killed Mot thus... "insert other plot points here"

Note: I was reading previous review responses and upon seeing that it will be done in twoish chapters my thoughts were, "Aww, Sad!" but my happiness was renewed when you made the Addendum about having been saying that for a good bit now. I have a horror of overly abruptly ended stories. :) It happens.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Mot was just evil from birth. There are always those few, bad blood and such. Perdita will adjust, I think. She has strong parents and her adoptive parents are supportive. I am working on finishing the story up. But i still feel it may only be 2 or 3 more chapters. Lots to do in those chapters so we will see. Thanks for the review.

In a way I feel sorry for Draco. He finally grew up and is now being persecuted because of his father. I don't believe for one minute that Harry would have treated Ron the same way as he treated Draco if the shoe was on the other foot.
Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
No, I don't think Harry would have either. Draco is always going to have that cloud of suspicion hanging over him because he is a Malfoy. He is trying to make his name respectable again. His father certainly doesn't help that much. Thank you for reviewing.

Response from silverdoe (Author of Agoraphobia)
Thanks. RL sucks. It would be nice if we could just sit and read and write fanfic all the time. :)

Just started reading this one this morning, and literally could not stop. Honestly, this is one of the most original, twisting, scenarios I've seen. How clever to put all the blame on Severus, then it's Lucius and the naughty elf! I am horrified by the torture, and hostage bits, but that's a good thing, isn't it? Shouldn't be pleasant. The secret port-key was equally brilliant, and fits nicely with many of my canon-based questions. I wondered if you'd mind saying about how many more chapters you were thinking of? I just want to know how many more times I've got to gasp in horror or surprise. Cheers!

I am glad you found it and it kept you reading. I think there will be 2 more chapters, but then I have been saying that since chapter 9. Thank you for reviewing.

As with anything to do with Lucius in this fic, this is just creepy! To have someone that sick in the head hiding out under a Fidelius Charm, on the property. Lucius might not be able to leave the property, but he can Disillusion himself, move about late at night, he could attack Draco and force him to drop the wards. [He'd have to keep an eye out for that elf of Draco's though.]The Manor may have wards meant to maintain Lucius within, but he is hardly contained and helpless.Great to have a new chapter to read!

Don't worry, Harry has plans to keep Draco safe. Thanks for reviewing.

Oh dear, thank you so much for continuing this fantastic tale! I was fearing you'd given it up... And what a great chapter it was. It's probably going to take a very long time, but I do hope that Draco will be able to live in peace from now on and that things will work out for Hermione and Severus eventually. Lucius, on the other hand, seems to be done for.

I never plan to give up on this. Never worry. RL got in the way of this chapter. Thanks for reviewing

Thank you so much for the update! I have been missing you, it was great to see that the story wasn't abonded. I still hope that when they get hold of Lucius, he gets to feel some of the pain he has inflicted on Hermione and Severus before they end his life. Then again, he is probably so mad that no pain in the world would make him feel anything but outrage for anyone trying to hurt Lucius Malfoy. I still hope you will manage to bring freedom to Hermione and Severus, meaning healing of their minds (I know they will never forget, but maybe so they will be able to move forward), regain trust and comfort with others and not at least get to know their daugther. Oh my, I admit that I long to read much more of this:-))
