I love how cracky the double entendres got - if you've got to use them, might as well make them funny! Kingsley as a framing device is also nicely done. And the title! Perfect.

Very nice! One word struck me as strange (I sew with silk alot)-- raw silk is coarse and nubby and generally feels like burlap! Silk charmeuse might be a better descriptor.

I was actually going for the nubby feel and low sheen look of raw silk as a reference to her skin. I pictured her flesh pebbled with goosebumps and having a semi-rough texture. Hermione does not strike me as a gossamer type. I appreciate your input.
