I'm so pleased that you're updating this story again -- I really enjoyed it when I first read it a while back and was feeling rather forlorn about its (apparent) abandonment.  Very glad to see that the news of its demise were greatly exaggerated :)

Congratulations on your degree and your muse coming back home. I think they should adopt a stray Doberman or Rottweiler. Sev would find it's sweet personality and strong demeanor comforting.

Blargh, block. I have/have had a few of those. One is currently running at nearly five years, and I have to get over my essay-aversion if I'm ever going to get a university degree. Anyway. I've just gone over the past few chapters as a refresher, and wish I had time to go back and re-read it all. Love it; hope you continue to work the ideas and churn out more. This weekend I read through what you have posted so far.  I usually do not read WIP's because I have a tendency to get caught up in really good writing and hate it when it does not come to a conclusion. The premiss of this fic is great!  A friend and I laughed so much at the comments Hermione and Severus made about the of The Lord the Ring movie.  This is a major bone of contention between us and our boyfriends, Tolkien vs. Rowling. Please don't stop updating, this is tooooo good!

This is great work. I have enjoyed what you have written so far and can't wait untill you updated this again.

I love Snape and his this does not turn me on tyrade.  Keep up the good work.

Good so far, sounds to be very interesting. The only thing I would say is that I would actually love to see you write more and expand it, especially on Hermione and Snape's time during the game and how they became friends. Great so far:)

This was rather short, you're right, but it definitely has a similar flavor to your earlier chapters, so I'm sure you've still got it. Keep going! You've been missed. Oh, Calliope, Clio, Erato, Euterpe, Melpomene, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Thalia, and Urania, muses all, look down upon this terrific writer and send her continued inspiration that Team Snarky-Smarty may both win the contest and one another, and may do so within our lifetime and while we are all still young enough to share in their joy....

This is far too clever and sweet and well-written to be abandoned.  You simply have to admit it:  You are, indeed, a real writer!

Besides, there's someone waiting at the door and on the phone, and we must find out who's there! 

It is wonderful to see a new chapter. This story is such a delightful break from reality and fun reading.

I will forever carry the vision in my head of Severus Snape, clad only in black knickers, drinking milk from a bottle by the light of whatever the Brits you may be talking to at the moment call that appliance that keeps food cold.  Vocabulary notwithstanding, it is a lovely image, and I refuse to part with it for the sake of getting the nouns precisely right.

Now, please let Hermione's imagination bleed into her real life sometime soon.  They both deserve a bit of getting "good and shagged."  Even if they don't tell Maia about it.
