Sometimes I find myself wondering why I read fanfic. A wonderful, compelling, hopelessly romantic, exciting, almost epic story like yours, makes me realize why I don't stop reading fanfic. Because every once in a while a story like yours comes along, and seldom as that may be, I really don't want to pass out on it. Thank you!

In my opinion, this final battle scene was written a thousand times better than JKR's.  It was riveting and seemed very realistic (for all that I know about war and battles *lol*).  You painted the picture perfectly, and I could see everything happening as though I were there watching it all take place.

Nothing at all as wonderful as a joyous ending. They don't have to live 'happily ever after', but it's worth it to see them live without fear.

Brilliant chapter, so exciting! I'm glad George died instead of Fred, I was gutted when Fred died, he was my favorite!So sad it's all coming to an end, but loving the excitement.

Very exciting!  I like how we actually see Charlie.  I like the bit about the Dementors obeying Death Eaters.  I like the dragon fighting!  Did you kill George because Fred died in canon or is that sheer coincidence?  Although I would have preferred Severus to drop the wards, but . . . meh.

That battle was amazing!!! I feel really bad that George is dead, but such things happen in battle. At least he and Fred were having fun at the time.  It all comes to a head next. Voldemort's immortal, so now Harry can do his thing. I can't wait until the next chapter!!

I thought you couldn't do better than the Severus' seduction chapter. Obviously I was wrong. You have this incredible ability to drown the reader into the action, to make him hope and fear, and called at everyone to say :"watch your back" before they were off guard. That's symply amazing. ANd I'm so sad it's almost finished. Bouuh  :°(

I've been eagerly awaitng this chapter to post from the queue.  I'm so glad I don't have to wait any longer. This chapter was so beautiful, yet also so very sad. Everyone realizes that the end is near, and whether it means their victory or doom, remains to be seen. I thought the interaction between Hermione and Severus at the end of the chapter was so full of bittersweet romance, that it was almost heart-wrenching. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

This has been a very enjoyable read thus far.  I don't normally comment on a WIP when I'm reading the first $however_many chapters already published, but there were some points that had me giggling out loud.  The part about the thunderstorm was wonderfully erotic and sensual, there were comments Severus was making that had me giggling, and my but the eroticism in his words!  I also found it quite . . . ironic that for all his complaining in the beginning that war will not begin with an owled invitation, he seems to have set it up nearly exactly like that!  :P

I've never payed much attention to the frightenning side of Severus. Well you almost scared me with that too cynical and violent person. I really prefer him embarrassed with his emotions or seductive. But that's my personnal opinion and I understand completely that was necessary for the plot. Anyway it's scary but brilliant.
