This was a wonderful first chapter. I can see why you would want to write it yourself.

I read this a long time ago, but I stopped somewhere before the end, and when I tried to read the end, it made no sense to me (duh), so I'm rereading it.

Anyway, I have to cheer Severus here, because despite Hermione's opinion, he *does* have the right to refuse the pain medicine, and I'm glad he's sticking to his guns about that.  I hope she finally gives him enough respect to allow him to make his own decision about that.

Consent isn't only a big issue in sexual matters; in my opinion, it's the main divider between respect and disrespect.

I enjoyed this fic immensely. I do love the softer side of Severus!

I know I'm somewhat late to this particular party, but I had to tell you how much I enjoyed this story. Severus was spot-on; exactly as I always felt he should be - a very private man who loves (and hates) very deeply. His relationship with Hermione (whom I also adored) evolved naturally and in such a way that it just felt RIGHT. Wonderful stuff. Thank you for sharing. 

Of Debts and Debt Collection is such a wonderful story, and I'm so glad that I finally got around to reading it.  It had been recc'ed by several friends, but I always found myself involved in several WIPs, so I'm just now finishing this final chapter.I've loved it from beginning to end, and this wedding was the cherry on top of the sundae for me.Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Beth

Goodness gracious!  I thought the last chapter was chock full of action, but this chapter sets a new bar.  I liked the way you wrote it so that the reader could piece together the actions being taken simultaneously by each character.Thank you for letting Severus survive.  I don't think either Hermione or I would have survived if he had not.  8^)Fabulous!Beth

This was an amazing battle sequence!  I found myself reeling from one heart stopping thing to the next.  You've given the reader a real roller coaster ride of description, action sequences, emotions... you name it, it is there in your writing.  Very Nicely Done, Anastasia!!!  Beth

With the battle looming on the morrow, each person in the castle deals with the things that mean the most to them.  Severus and Hermione have allowed their hearts and souls to speak for them, and are strengthening their bond with heartfelt admissions of love and adoration.  Whatever happens tomorrow, Severus will be a happy man.This is a great setup chapter for what is to come!  My hat is off to you!Beth

This chapter was absolutely wonderful!  It had everything!!!!!The mission to destroy the Horcrux was full of tension and terror.  I was afraid that the bronze eagle would somehow break out of the spell Severus had cast to destroy it.  I was afraid that Lucius would hurt or kill Draco.  I was afraid that they would not make it back to Hogwarts safely.  But it ended wonderfully!!!And Severus kissed Hermione if front of everybody!  Woohoo!!!  That was some epiphany he had!I love it!Beth

This chapter was full of love and joy, and ended with pain and sadness...  the balance that is life.I'm happy for Severus and Hermione.  Their love for each other has been declared before the company of their friends.I am sad for Draco that he had to witness his mother's death at the hands of his father.  Lucius will pay dearly for that.Great chapter!Beth

What a battle!  It was just lovely that Severus killed Bella.  She was as evil and the Dark Lord... not as powerful, perhaps, but just as evil.  And Severus' giving her wand to Neville was a wonderful thing to do.  I know it had to give the young wizard a real sense of "justice done" to have broken it.Well done!Beth

Bellatrix Lestrange... the ever present, ever surviving Death Eater...  I hope Hermione is ready to deal with killing someone, because I think she is going to have to kill Bella to save Severus.What a switcheroo!  I didn't see that coming at all.Beth

Severus was right to require Narcissa to bring him another Horcrux in return for removing their Marks and giving them protection.  I'm not sure I trust the mother or the son... Draco is very beaten and weak, and Narcissa could just be trying to gain access to Severus so she could deliver him to the Dark Lord.I'm glad that Harry and Ginny are together.  Harry needs the security of her love and support to center his thoughts so he will be prepared to defeat Voldemort.I wonder when Severus and Hermione will find the time and opportunity to express their love for each other in more than words.Very nice chapter!Beth

OMG!  I never saw that coming.  I thought the pair of eyes watching Tonks and Remus in the Black Home belonged to Peter Pettigrew!  What a surprising turn of events this is!Well done!Beth
