I have to apologize to everyone, period. Real life swallowed me whole, as I have been struggling to make a living writing original fiction over the last 8 years. It has not been easy, & has been complicated by health issues. I hope people can forgive my long silences. Trying to make enough money to live on from writing is a lot harder--waaaay harder--than it looks. (At least I didn't leave any posted fanfics unfinished.)
Anyhoo...
These stories are works of parody (& thus are allowable under US law), and are not written for profit. Just for fun. I'm not making any money off of any fanfics, nor will I ever. I'm just playing around in other writers' universes.
...I am, however, making something of a living off my own stories. (If anyone wants to play around in my universes, you may visit my website, www.jeanjohnson.net, and look up my policy on Fanfics & Fanarts. It's reasonable enough and fairly easy to follow, too...)

Well, after all he's been through, maybe he's prematurely aged. Or maybe Hermie's just a raving nympho....Imagine the nervous wreck he'll be when she's in her 30s, at her sexual peak, and he's in his 50s...*mwehehehs*~Lotm

Given the age of Lily and James when they had Harry, based on JKR's birthdates for everyone, it was literally after they got out of school, so Lily was around 19 when Harry was born, possibly as late as 20. Severus was in the same school year, so that makes him roughly the same age as Harry's parents. Hermione is a little older than Harry (born in mid-September of the previous year) so I shaved it very closely when figuring the dates.~Lotm
I get the feeling that Severus forgot the fact that even a Potions master has limitations of how many potions they can brew at a time...Ah, the grim reality of life!

Though I'm neither 23 nor nubile, I am married to a man who is now somewhat north of 42. Having said so, this cuts a little too close to reality to be hilarious, at least to me, so I can't leave you the wild praise and adulation I normally would give. But it is funny, and well done.

*hugs* It was written in response to all the SexGod!Snape stories out there (many of which, I have perpetrated, lol). We in fanfic have a tendency to get a little out of hand in our fervid imaginings, and thus a tad unrealistic. But if you'd like to think of it this way, just imagine that Hermie in this story is a raving nympho...~Lotm

Oh, dear...poor Severus! This story rather bursts the whole "Severus The Sex God" bubble, doesn't it? Still, if wizards are capable of living well into their hundreds as canon seems to suggest, one would think that they might also be capable of hanging onto their virility a little longer than Muggle men -- but if Severus thinks this is bad, just wait until Hermione hits her thirties and forties! After all, that's when they say a lot of women really hit their sexual stride as their feminine hormones start to wane and others start to make themselves felt!

It's hard to know for certain, really. One of the randiest men I ever met was a year shy of 50, nineteen years older than me -- and at least as far as I knew, he wasn't taking Viagra! Unfortunately, there were signs toward the end that he may have been suffering from sex addiction -- which was what eventually compelled me to break up with him. Nonetheless...ye gods!
