I started reading this story yesterday and couldnt stop until I finished.. I think it was 3 in the morning.. and all I can come up with since then is wow... I absolutly love the way you write! eventhough I did have some trouble with some words ;) (I'm Dutch) I read a lot of stories out there but this is the first I want to call art.. so yeah "wow" summs it up :)

This was really well done! I loved the story's complexity, and the accuracy with which you recounted each character's reactions to events that were beyond their control. I would have reviewed sooner, but I was so caught up with finishing the story that I hardly paused between chapters! You really captured Severus's character, and he lived up to be the Potions Master of my dreams, haha, while still being a realistic character, unlike many other fictions' accounts of either his very Dark side or his sudden sentimentality. I loved this!

I very much enjoyed your story and thank you for writing it :) I hope you continue in the genre.

I like the place at which you ended your story. I have not yet read what others thought, but it matters little to me anyway. We all have our opinions.

Some writers carry their stories all the way to their characters' deaths, but I feel in the case of any story with Severus Snape that we all have already suffered through that torture at the hands of JKR. So why put us through it again?

Would your version give them a wedding? Children? Does it really matter as long as they are happy? Not really, not to me, anyway.

I just found this story today and have thus read to here in one sitting. I will hopefully finish it before I retire for the evening.

I must say that your writing style and expertise is exquisit. I am enjoying this immensley. And I don't think this to be too much of a saccharine laced chapter. Quite the contrary. He needed to crack just a tad to give her hope. You succeeded quite well, IMO.

I enjoyed your story so much. I thought you did a wonderful job developing the characters and the plot. I guess we have all gotten spoiled with epilogues -- I would love to know if they got married, had children, et cetera. Perhaps someday we can hope for a sequel? Great job!

I read this quite a while ago and couldn't remember the title when I wanted to read it again.  I'm so glad I found it!  It is amazing.  Much of it is quite painful and sad and I can't remember how it works out in the end at all.  I do remember thinking it was a great story the first time around, tho.

Wise Ginny!  Wise Severus, too.I have to say that Hermione seems a bit callous about her family.  If she had time to attend a party and go shopping and stay at the Burrow, surely she had time to see her parents and grandmother.  I am certain they would write her  not to abandon school, that is logical for her kin.  But she had the time to see them and stayed at the Burrow; that's so Out of character, in my opinion.  Otherwise this is quite a good story.

Since I said I thought Hermione behaved out of character, it's only fair for me to say that Snape, in his reaction to Hermione, seems perfectly Snape-ish. 

I know this will sound stupid to some, but I can't imagine that Hermione would actually throw her contact lenses away.  She strikes me as the sort to be naturally thrifty and logical.  Look at how she took everything with her in DH.  Of course this was written before DH, but still, I think even in the light of the previous books, it's Out of Character for her not to tuck them safely away in their little case.This is a very interesting and well-written tale, nevertheless.

I don't agree w ith the idea that Hermioe was crushing on Professor Snape while in school.  But you are writing a good tale here, (no surprize with as many people who chose it for a favourite of theirs.)   I may not be able to get through it, as I prefer lighter, less violent stuff, but this is very well written.   

What an ending to the chapter - a year together and passion a plenty - I loved this story. You can feel their emotion throught their actions. What a good story.

Way to go author - I cannot believe he was going to take the easy way out and leave. Way to go writing that she went after him and he kissed her. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
