I know this story was written years ago, and I've marked it read. I may have answered the question at the end of this chapter way back then, I don't remember. However, anyone who doesn't know "As you wish" is from the Princess Bride isn't worth their salt as a romantic fan fiction reader. I've must have seen it 15 times, at least. A long, long time ago when my last baby was born, I used to take her 5 year old sister to a one dollar movie theater and dinner every Thursday night. It was her night with mommy. There weren't very many movies she could see so we saw the same movie week after week until it left the theater then we bought it. Now I'm a grandma and both my daughters have sons. I still love that movie. Regarding this story, it seems like 7 years is a long time for Hermione to take to realize her watcher is Severus. But, that's the story line and I mind it not. It is sweet and show his devotion. That is what really matters.

I think, in a way, she always had an inkling that it was Severus. But she didn't say anything because it seemed so important to him to be anonymous for just a while. I think it was just as important to her to feel that he was there that it was for him to be "invisible" to her.

I absolutely love that story, and that film. It seemed perfect for the two of them!
The "as you wish" is from The Princess Bride, a very good movie. I like your writing style, and I plan on reading all of your works with Harry Potter, and maybe the original fiction as well.

I don't think Snape is really OOC here, I mean we never saw him in love did we? If he had been married to Lily in the books he probably would have been like this, I think.

uh, that's a surprising epilogue and very sad for Severus. But then it is life. I loved the story, you're awonderful writer!

Wow, I had assumed that Hermione knew that he left the room. She must have thought that he just kept very, very quiet? I suppose Harry and Ron would have distracted her from thinking about it.

Oh, now I have happy tears in my eyes. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Severus would take it upon himself to cure her, but it is a wonderful surprise. I forgot to mention in a previous chapter, but I found it quite telling that she hadn't been using her wand all that time. So many wonderful details.
