What a wonderfully romantic chapter. I hope Harry and Ron don't ruin things for them. I know in the other chapters Severus has to leave the room when they come buy, which I don't see right. He takes care of Hermione and loves her, Frick and Frack should realize that.Anyway, looking forward to more.

LOL, for sure! It seems like she hadn't said anything because she might have been afraid of them not coming to see her or abandoning her, but if they are her true friends they will accept her decision.I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

"As you wish", which is synonymous for "I love you", is what Wesley says to Buttercup, from William Goldman's The Princess Bride, one of my all-time, favorite books. It is supremely fitting for Severus to use that phrase with Hermione. I'm a Slytherin, for the record. 
I really am enjoying this tale so far - glad there was a push for this continuation.

Sigh... having Severus read "Princess Bride" would be a real treat!! I'm glad she's starting to do more to take care of stuff, helping to clean the kitchen, etc. Smart idea to tie a bell around Crookshanks, the wicked kitty. Thanks for having Ron and Harry bring Severus a boxed lunch, although they still seem to treat him like Cinderella. And nice touch to let Severus have personal experience with Braille and his blind mother; she now knows he's not intimidated by her blindness. "As you wish, Severus" - 
Can't wait to see what's next!!

'As you wish' comes from The Princess Bride! In my college days it was practically a cult fic. That and Better Off Dead.... Now you've got me reminiscing when I should be reading the next chapter. I loved the feelings in this one by the way!

That's a bit sad that Severus is exiled to the kitchen to eat by himself when Harry and Ron come over. I'm just a little surprised Hermione doesn't say something about that.Hopefully they will all learn to get along soon.I like how he put a bell on the cat.

I think Hermione is still super dependent on the two of them. For seven years, they were they only "company" she ever had. And I think Severus knows that, and he isn't willing to break that connection for her. The bell was all thanks to whitesilence. ~The Mistress

"As you wish" is from The Princess Bride. Wesley always said it to Buttercup.I have to admit I was one of those wishing for a sequel, but I didn't want to push it, as I'll Be There For You was a beautiful piece unto itself.YAY! You did a sequel! Now I'm impatiently awaiting the next installment.
