This was certainly unusual! Very nicely done too!You know, without doing the maths, which I think makes it impossible... I could swear you were trying to imply that Rose's paternity was elsewhere than the Weasley line...

Thanks! And thanks so much for your help!You're not the first person to think that about Rose's paternity. I really wasn't trying to imply that. (At least not for this fic. As you know, I've done that elsewhere, but it does require tweaking the timeline.) Though I am fond of the idea of her being Severus' daughter, so maybe that leaked through subconsciously?

Thanks! The credit for the premise goes to Camillo, but I'm glad you like what I did with it. I don't have any plans to make it into anything longer, but if you're inspired to write what happens if he can leave the portrait, I'd love to read it!
