I am a slytherin in hufflepuff clothing.
I read therefore I am.
I write therefore I amuse myself.
Reviews for Seventy Hundred Shiny Black Buttons
From now forward, I shall always think of Severus as Snape of the"Seventy hundred shiny black buttons." Very clever and very funny. Thanks for the much needed laugh. I can't help but wonder if this could be the start of a beautiful Severus/Hermione relationship.

AH! I LOVE this! I even read it out loud to myself for the full effect, this was totally made of win. I wish I could give you seven stars instead of only five.FYI the line 'Seventy Hundred Shiny Black Buttons' rather surprised me by being a bit of a tongue twister.

Thank you for taking the time to address the very real, very serious problem of excessive buttoning.

You are welcome. If more people showed concern, consider all the time, thread, and crankiness we would save...

Awww, I loved this! The last line of every stanza, of course, is now permanently embedded in my brain cells. There was a bit of Mr. Silverstein, how droll and perfect! And I love the house-elves' solution, because I thought to myself, What is Snape without all his buttons? So to put it behind, while still allowing the man his buttons? Perfection, darling!
My face aches from grinning over this!
Author's Response: *twirls*
At long long, I can reply.
Yay! I'm glad you liked it. And yes - I cannot imagine Snape without his buttons either... oh, wait. Yes, I can. But they are still on the frock coat... and the floor... and pinging against the stone wall of his bedroom...
So, what is Snape without his buttons? Nakey Snape, that's what!
lulabelle72's response: Oooh, I might have guessed, too, if you'd left this review response!
Hm, now who wrote the other ones I liked too? *wanders off*
