First chapter summary:
Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel;
Their horns were black and shining and their hot breath she could feel.

Reviews for Crossroads
Gee how many people are in this story? How do you keep up with every body? I wonder if there is a happy ending to this story.
Response from Fairfield (Author of Crossroads)
The characters are distinctive: ex-heroine, double agent, aristocratic lady, ex-hero, shopkeepers, intellectual, and villainess. Keeping the proper sequence of events and smooth narration became a problem as their lives intertwined, The ending is one of poetic justice where Jack and Harry pay for their transgressions.
Harry and Narcissa never thought of that pairing not bad was this planned the four leaf clovers and leaving together
Response from Fairfield (Author of Crossroads)
Sparks fly with those two, but the hero cannot remain in canon and relate to a lady. Think born-aristocrat with intellectual-aristocrat. Not everyone likes the aristocratic temperament as you observe later. Good guess on the four leaf clover.
oh boy her knight in dark armor but will he save her or pull her under further ?
Response from Fairfield (Author of Crossroads)
A dark knight indeed. Will it spoil the story for you if it's revealed that he pulls her under by saving her and then saves her by pulling her under?
What a story. She has been through so much and now this. Is she ever going to find happiness or at least peace?
Response from Fairfield (Author of Crossroads)
Yes, Hermione's dissatisfaction with her life is one of the drivers of the story. Glad you like the story.
This story continues wonderfully, and as always, I look forward to reading more.

Thank you for the kind comments. The next two chapters wander over the map, but I hope they are entertaining.
I see what you mean about my feeling on Jack. Well, in for a penny, might as well go for the pound.

There are more ambiguous adventures in store for Jack, stay tuned. Glad you're interested enough to review.
