I am sure I read this a long time ago somewhere else, but what a pleasure to find it again here.  This is beautifully, poignantly written, spare and yet so full of emotional nuance between the lines.  Lovely, lovely job!

This is absolutely one of the very best stories I've ever read. And you've written in a style that I feel is perfect for Draco and Hermione - small moments, many unsaid things, and slow intense build to something monumental. Excellent!

I've read this before, but I came back to read again... a truly -- what's the word? Not lovely nor beautiful, though the writing certainly is -- haunting? Enchanting, perhaps. Gritty might be the right word. I love the way you left the ending open. Just wanted to drop a note to tell you that I still find this story intriguing several reads later.
