When I'm not toiling for coin or occupied with family and friends, I'm a reader, a writer, and an occasional beta. I left the fandom shortly after the fall of Granger Enchanted. I haven't written any fic since then, but I've recently been lurking around fic archives more often and reading my old favorites. I've also been writing and publishing original novels, poetry, and news articles while leading a semi-vagabond, fully-marvelous life. I'm still on Live Journal sometimes, Maria_lynette, the Wasted Wordsmith.
NOTE: My stories aren't loading on TPP since the site came back for some reason, but I've archived my best revised fics on AO3 as Wasted Wordsmith. Most of my other fics are still archived at ff.net and/or LJ if anyone's reading this and interested in reading or rereading them.

Oooh, very interesting turn of events. Hermione and Sirius does make me shudder, a lot. And good on Lucius keeping his mouth mostly shut. He almost was perfect there.
LOL, oh I shouldn't laugh, but I just love the fact her first thought was 'Oh, Merlin'. Yes indeed, my dear, that is exactly who it is. LOL Nice turn of events that her memories are starting to come back to her - no doubt with a little help from Lucius' gift of flowers. I love this explanation as to why he was restrained at the Ministry. Much more interesting than my usual route of the purely reluctant Death Eater trying to keep his family alive (I once had him purposely getting captured so that he would temporarily be out of the clutches of his master).
I just love how you are tying past and present actions together. It makes it such a wonderful and rich story. And I love the explanation as to why house-elves are so different from what mythology says elves normally are (well, some mythology such as Tolkein, not the Santa Claus type)
Oooh, interesting turn of events. I love that it's Luna that will become Hermione's connection to her past life. Very nice touch. And love more Severus-Lucius interaction. What tangled web it all is. Keep up the great work.
Still utterly awesome. I love the Lucius-Severus friendship, that is really playing nicely here. And poor Hermione. Wonder how she will take the whole revelation when her memories come crashing into her. Poor Lucius stuck in between two lives. At least he has Severus to confide in.
I am so loving this alternate look at events from the books through the eyes of our beloved characters being not quite who they seem. Poor Lucius was so off balance by Nimue/Ginny that he didn't even notice Morgana/Hermione. This is all really well played. It's a shame I have things to do and can sit here and catch up on all of it right now.
You are doing a really great job unfolding this story. I love poor Lucius trying to live two lives in the same body. And great showing of the friendship he has with Severus. So many times I see people showing it as Lucius having Severus in his pockets, not a friendship of equals. Poor Lucius has no idea that his precious Morgana was born to Muggles and that he would insult her on more than one occasion.
Awesome job with building the mystery and the connection from past to present. I really can't wait to see where this goes. And I love that Lucius was initially betrothed to Andromeda who rejected him for taking the Mark.
Nice start. I like the subtle changes to Muggle history/myth and I am definitely curious as to who that was digging the chalice up.
Great update, wonderful style and a fascinating plotline. You blend the timelines in excellent ways. I'm just so sad that Ginny is to be such a bitch in your story.

I'm glad you like it.
yeah, the plot thickens!
Huh, Lucius is Merlin? So wisely constructed why he's anyhow a Death Eater. There's also a nice side-plot lurking with Andromeda!
Then there's to be a female with a mass of wild brown curls... only one association comes to mind.
Nimue reincarnates with red hair.. Ginny? Can't really be Lily, can it?
Two against one, but the one has full memory... what a fantastic set-up!
Hi, just discovered your story, and this start is truly intriguing!
Helga's cup was already an ancient, most powerful object when she got it... and the sword of Gryffindor is much older as well? Very curious how this is all linked to the wizards and witches we know!
This story grows more and more fascinating with each chapter. I was very happy to see an update!!

I'm glad you are still enjoying it! Thanks for reading.
Poor Hermione! Feeling lost and confused and not knowing why. Soon, though, surely.
I'm really looking forward to Hermione remembering. She's gonna freak out! :)
I love how you've kept the story pretty true to canon and yet, there is so much different behind the scenes.
It's great how well the stories are fitting together and how in character they all are, even though they are not exactly themselves.
This is going along so well! In all the Muggle hospitals, I wonder how he'll find her, and how he'll feel about her parentage.
This is so intriguing! Why have I never read this before?!?! Off to find out more ...
What an interesting start! I love the intermingled muggle and wizard history and legends.
EXCELLENT!!!!!WOW---I look forward to reading future chapters....

Nicely done. I love how the cup decided what was needed in the end.

The end of one battle and the beginning of another. Nice to see Harry has come to his senses.
