Reviews for My Favorite Wand Waver
When they argue they can make up! ;) Fun to see more of Ron and Messy Hair too heheheh bravo!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
I suspect there will always be a lot of making up for those two, lol. It was fun to include Ron and Hermione, too. Thank you!
Whoot, she found seven, out of hundreds? Well, its a small start. I loved the kiss and Granger's inquiry. Severus' responce was hilarious!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! She pretty much lucked into them. After so many weeks, there's a good chance that they're scattered to the winds.
I think I agree with the drummer - what a perfect wedding and honeymoon.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you. I enjoy writing those sorts of scenes.
Oh Katharine is lucky to have a talented and caring potions master around to treat injuries, and he is lucky to have her around to help him heal his heart. I hope they find whoever attacked her so that they can go on to enjoy their new life!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
I didn't realize the answer to this question until within the last few weeks, so it's going to be slow going for a while, but we'll get there!
Awwww, bless Severus's heart, so gentle, I love this chapter and this story...It's wonderful..can't wait to read more...Excellent!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Oh, thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Sneaking some nookie in while the uncle is there is good practice for when a little one comes and they have to be more discreet (which I'm sure they'll figure out new ideas then too!). Nice to see some wooing on SS's part and looking forward to reading about the Paris trip too!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Oh dear, I'm afraid the Paris trip will not be what anyone is expecting, but there will be other compensations.Yes, I agree that learning how to cope with an Uncle is good practice for what will come later, LOL! There's so much to figure out, during that first year of marriage. That's just one sort of thing, and a true Slytherin enjoys the opportunity to use their sneaky abilities.Thank you for the review!
Sigh....Severus has the most marvelous ideas...Im also glad she has consented to go to St. Mungo's....Well done, I love this chapter!!!! Whoohoo!!!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! A lot of the fun of this story has been thinking up interesting scenarios that are somewhat doable, ahem. It will be a few chapters before Katherine finally gets to St Mungo's, but she's committed, now.
Response from Becky (Reviewer)
Wonderful, I'm glad, I can't wait to hear they are expecting a baby!!! Daddy Severus...SIGH!!! I am really enjoying this story...It's brilliant!!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thanks, again. I'm enjoying this story, too
Hahaha love the boots idea! I know that warriors would often wear something of their conquests (such as a tooth necklace of a creature they killed) but that is pretty creepy! Loved their playfulness in the chapter too. Have a Happy Halloween! (though a sad day for Severus and Harry)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
The boots were the idea of beta-reader Trickie Woo and in my opinion should be fixed firmly in canon. I had forgotten about the warriors wearing a part of their conquests. That makes it all the more suitable. I always think about the end of _Romancing the Stone_ when I think about these boots. Ron certainly thought the boots were creepy, so you're not alone. Happy Halloween to you too! As an odd sort of coincidence, I'm writing about Halloween right now. I just happened to be there in my storyline.
Whoohoo, bless Severus's heart, I hope he can get her to go to St. Mungo's...She really ought to be checked... Do I see a baby snape in the future?? I hope so!!!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you for the review! How do I answer that without giving anything away?Hmm... the timetable is probably not what we're hoping for at this point, but I think most readers will ultimately be pleased.
I wonder what's in the box! They were talking about the tedious one (heheh) and his creature, but it was mentioned that Katherine helped with sizes so I have no idea. Loved the scene with Katherine comforting Snape on DD's birthday (aw!) also, thanks for continuing this!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
The box contains something my beta (Trickie Woo)cooked up and I've written it into another story, too. I personally think it should have become part of AU fanon long since. The explanation is in the next chapter, which is in the queue. I couldn't ignore the fact that these people have painful histories, nor the fact that they're a bit clueless when it comes to dealing with such things. I'm glad you're enjoying this. I found I couldn't leave these characters where I left them before.Thank you!
Ooooooooooo, well done..What is this special Wand she has to find? Who has it? Malfoy, a rogue Death Eater?? Wonderfully mysterious....Can't wait for more....
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Hee hee, we'll have to see what the story is about that wand. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thank you for the kind review.
LOL. I'm enjoying this. I want to read more.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! More is coming. I hope to do about a chapter per week.
Oooooooooooo, I can't wait for another chapter, this sounds so interesting....Great start...Who is this mysterious Katherine? and where is she from?? are we going to get a more detailed background on her?? and How and where they met? Love it, so saved in my favorites...
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you for the review!I guess it would be rather confusing to not know anything about Katherine. I introduced her in The Tower Affair, which is set in the DH year of canon.
Response from Becky (Reviewer)
Well now I will be off to read that now...thank you!!!
Enjoyed the character interactions in the potions shop and dinner party scenes! Wonder what Lucius had to say to Severus.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! I enjoy seeing how he still responds to the world at large. Lucius did have something a little important to tell Severus. It will come up later.
I'm glad Sonny made the right choice. Heneeds to be around for the baby. Great chapter. Thank you.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Yes, Katherine is relieved too! Thank you for the review!
Gives a whole new meaning to a magic carpet ride heheh very hot thx!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! They are very much newlyweds, aren't they?
The marking on the wands is a neat trick. Is Hermione jealous or just nosy?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! It's a bit of a contrivance, but not unlike the thing computer programs do nowadays when they register with the software companies over the internet, almost without saying anything to the user. I don't think Hermione is exactly jealous, just a bit possessive over a professor whom she recognizes as an intellectual equal. *This* Hermione and *this* Ron are actually fit mates for each other, or will be when they're ready to get serious.
Snape and the trio reunited is a fun read and I liked how they seem to at least respect each other a bit more since they could acknowledge each one's role in the war. I also liked the way you wrote how Ollivander charmed the wands so that someone could know they were stolen, very creative!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you, again! We knew from DH that the person using a wand not his own will have trouble with it, but that wouldn't be proof that it was stolen. So, I figured that there must be a charm in the trademark.
Yay their story continues! Looking forward to reading what Mr. and Mrs. Snape do after their honeymoon and what's different now after the war.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you! I hope it satisfies.
Whoohoo...an update...I have missed this story...I love it! Did Silvias declaration that Severus was to get the money mean she knows something Katherine doesn't? I also am beginning to believe Lucius is using Severus and Katherine...Can't wait to see what happens next! WELL DONE!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Silvia, of course, got a head start by having that brief time with Severus years before. As for the Lucius situation, I admit I don't know which way he's leaning. Severus is such a good friend, but that's such an unbelieveable pile of money... We'll just have to see what he says and does when the time comes.Thank you for the kind review!
Very interesting about the wills and direct lines. And I knew Silvia was up to something but didn't think she was that clever of a caster. Your chapters are always fun and engaging to read, thanks!
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you for the review! Yes, I hope things are becoming clearer about where the money should go and why. Silvia's game is hopefully becoming clearer, too.
I wonder if what is looking Katherine in the face is that Severus is the heir to the money. Hope they get Silvia soon.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
Thank you for the review! Unfortunately, unless Tobias was hiding something, Severus doesn't have enough pure blood in his make up to be the heir. Silvia is soon going to get what's coming to her... and then some.
I miss writing letters! Facebook correspondence just isn't the same. It was pretty funny what Sonny wrote and I look forward to finding out more about his extracurricular activities as well as Sylvia or Charles. I'm having a dumb moment because I didn't understand what turned Katherine cold and made Severus swear from the last letter. Is it that they still want to investigate the missing wands and now that someone has paid for it then it's officially over?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
LOL, I like letters, too! Facebook is not the same. Katherine and Severus have been watching for this wand, because so far it's turned normal spells into far more dangerous ones. She was leary of it to begin with and was hoping to turn it over to the Ministry if she ever found it. Now someone has actually purchased it and made it their own.Thank you for the review!
Response from AuroraSinistra (Reviewer)
Thanks for clarifying, I was a bit foggy about the wand search plotline around the recent pregnancy focus. So instead of enjoying their last few months of getting sleep before the baby comes, the Snapes' work isn't finished! They're a clever team though so I think whatever the world throws at them they'll find an interesting way to tackle it.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of My Favorite Wand Waver)
I have a feeling that if I had kept this coming at a reasonable rate, things would be fresher. I'm going to blame my muse, although it might well be laziness! ;PThank you, again!
