A tale of set-ups, sniping and silliness in large doses. When Ginny sends in an advertisement for the 'Lonely Hearts' Section of the Daily Prophet for Hermione, neither friend really anticipates a reply--that is, until Lucius sends one behind Severus' back, neatly forcing Severus to continue the correspondence. Despite their initial arguments, Severus and Hermione soon find themselves enjoying their correspondence, though they have no idea who the other is and that they seemingly despise each other in 'real life'! How on earth will this unlikely match of mistaken identities, verbal sparring and postscripts resolve itself?

REGARDING ALL THAT'S LEFT
In case you were wondering why it vanished off the face of the earth, not to worry. It's undergoing a significant bit of revision, but it'll be back eventually. It'll probably be under a different name, too, but the premise will largely be the same. Thanks to everyone who supported me through it; I just wanted to make a few changes but it'll be back, I promise.

‘Sev’, ‘Sevvykins’ and ‘Sevvywevvypoopoo’.I love you! I am so delighted. I wish I could think of half as many funny things to put on a page as you do. This is laugh-out-loud funny. And then you go into Hermione's rant and it's so natural. Really, this is in the best tradition of comedy, human nature exagerated just enough to make us to scream with laughter.

I'm so glad you like it. I adore comedy. Drama is all well and good but there's something nice about having a good laugh. It's very therapeutic, and I personally enjoy writing it, especially because I'm apparently naturally hilarious (according to my friends) and I have some truly funny friends, so a lot of the humour is the type that readers can relate to. Put it this way, it's as much fun for me to write as it is for you to read. (Or at least I hope so.)

I think you are someone I've discussed doughnuts with. how we have the best ones in Texas. But usually I am hopeless at these guessing things, and you are probably thinking, "Doughnuts? Texas? She obviously has me confusedwith someone else." Good luck in the Challenge!

Great chapter! I kept all beverages and so on far away from the keyboard, and good advice that was.
My favourite line is " One wrong click and there goes your head." *helpless giggle*

Hehehe, very nice! Even though, I can't really see Sev trading with Minerva such gossip as whom Lucius is shagging, so that part seemed more OOC than others. But in general, it's fun and witty, and also you make their characters shine through from their letters.

Thank you for telling me! Actually, it's not really gossip. It's more like Severus wanting to share something with someone, and Minverva's his closest companion since Albus. I was originally going to have him tell Lucius everything on the letter, but then I realised it would be FAR more fun to let him figure it out for himself. (And it leaves me more to write about. :D) Thanks for reviewing and yes, I do encourage concriticism! Thanks,

Heehee - head blowing off and pondering decapitation! LOL! I think the P.S. and the asides and the closings are the best! They are like little gems - if you read too quickly you'll miss them! Excellent again! And shame on me for not reading my advice...I took a drink and chortled so hard it came out my nose! LOL! And soda burns!Okies...my guess...probably completely off base but only thing I could come up with...M for Mione? and J for Jean/Jane (depending on the correctness of her middle name?) I tried to come up with more hidden meanings like Muggleborn J.... Jester, Jewel, Jaguar (vaguely lion-like) But as you can see...entertaining but incredibly strange!
