Mostly Harmless! Though I have to admit, I'm even stranger than I appear. ;-) There's a pile of unbeta'd stuff on my LJ (dracfic) if you're interested in Raw, Untamed, fanfic.
Believe it or not, "How Argus Filch Got Wild, Got Laid, and Got His Magic" has been rec'ed by Know It Alls! It's true! They gave me this pretty lil' ribbon and everything! And in March 2007, they saw fit to likewise reccommend (as an antidote to angst) the story that started it all, 'Courtesy of Your Fairy God-Jarvey'--just in time for the first anniversary of that story's posting! *hugs Harm*
(I also have to admit that 'mostly harmless' may not be the most apt description of a member of the Mad Chatters...)
Finally, I just have to say... Storyville. If you were there, you know what I mean.Reviews for Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM
Cute! When do they learn that the ghost is Professor Snape? (Or is that in one of your stories?)
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
Hee... I haven't decided if takes place in the same 'universe' as the other Al & Scorp stories. Even if it does, I would say it occurs in about their second or early third year, and it's pure wishful thinking on the boys' part that they could somehow recall the Ghost of Snape! :)

I heard about the original idea from which this came and I found it so hilarious. I'm glad yu posted it here.

Thanks very much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. :D
lol There's those big bad boy pantses again. :)
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
I went back to the store.
$2.
I bought them.
I kinda feel like they deserve to be run up a flagpole or something.
:D
Thanks kindly for reviewing!
oh dear , they could get into a LOT of mischief, that lot!
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
*giggles* Oh, yes. Yes, indeed. And I believe they shall. :D
Thanks for reviewing!
The pants themselves aren't the horror, really -- it's our filthy imaginations of who will fill them up. >_< Cute drabble; you're one of the few people who can make next-gen bearable -- and even a pleasure -- to read.
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
*groan* I try to imagine as little as possible of who will fill them up! Though I must confess, the pants are rather entertaining all by their lonesome. *contemplates the fate of the pants as they sit innocuously draped over a stepladder* Or running down a corridor yelling, "Snape!"Thanks muchly, dear partner-in-crime! I shall endeavor to keep the future realm of the Mini-Mes safe for discerning connoisseurs of fanfic. :D
hahaha. i don't know if it'll work - is snape that easy to manipulate? - but it's a very creative attempt. you really conjured a vision of hugo as ron's kid there at the end.
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
I don't know if it will work, either, but it sounded great to a couple of 12-year-olds who'd heard rumors that Snape was a ghost somewhere!I'm beginning to think I rather like Hugo. He's a wee bit like Neville without the clumsy and Percy without the pompous. LOLThanks for reviewing!
ROFL! Classic!
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
*grins* Thank you!
okay, now I've stopped giggling, something I've been meaning to ask:WHAT THE HELL ARE TEARAWAYS?!?????!!?
Response from DawnEB (Reviewer)
Sorry to shout, just frustrated at not getting the reference, and an image search just brings up pictures of kids like-->

LOL! Since I don't want to be responsible for you having an aneurysm or something, your review just got moved to the top of the list. Tearaways: trousers that are fastened with velcro or snaps all the way down each side, from waist to ankle, so that they can be--ta dah!--torn away! Typically used by track athletes who want to get out of their warm up clothes without having to take off their shoes... oh, and by male strippers. ^_^And it suddenly becomes clear why we are all so distressed--at the thought of Slughorn being that 'accessible'... O_oThanks for reviewing!

Strippers...Slughorn...*whimper*
hahaha

Those pants are fated, I'm telling you. :D

For the love of all things good and holy.... HAHAHAHAHAA!!! Crap. Now I'm crying. Okay. I boooowwwww down to your comic genius. Seriously. Where do you come up with this stuff? You are deliciously demented.
And if he started class by drifting up out of a cauldron? That would be totally wicked. Dude.
(not being pushy, but aren't you supposed to be writing a sequel to a certain HP/DM on a subway kinda story? am I wrong? i'm never wrong. LOL!)
Author's Response: *blush* The comic genius is taking a wee Jim Beam break, but the writer will humbly express gratitude for the kind sentiment.
So far as being demented is concerned, I've been told that I fell out of my crib frequently as a baby, and landed on my head every time. Dad's penchant for the Marx Brothers and Monty Python probably contributed. :)
Dude, that would be so totally cool. C'mon, Snape. Sluggy's too old to be doing this any more.
Ah, hm, right--sequels! Please be patient! The first sequel is complete, but I have to let it sit for at least a week while I let my brain rest from writing it. Only then can I go back, read it with fresh eyes, and make any necessary tweaks that will allow it to be as good as possible.
lulabelle72's response: All right. That is... acceptable.
;)
I actually laughed out loud when I read this.Hysterically, while I was on my own !Did you get the chant from "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" on YouTube ?If you didn't, please go and look, you will pee your pants laughing & probably get a stitch. Then giggle unexpectedly throughout the day when you get flashbacks of Voldemort at the end of the video.
Response from dracontia (Author of Shimmering Slytherin Green Tearaways of DOOM)
LOL I've never actually seen the clip (I have the rickety dialup from hell) but that refrain is legend in the fandom! If you laugh when you're on your own, there's no one to look at you oddly. (This could be a quote from Luna, but I'd not swear to it.) Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reviewing, luv!
