Thank you so much, I have enjoyed this story from begining to end. The last scenes with Minerva and Al, brought tears to my eyes. I wonder what will happen when, in the fullness of time, Minerva becomes a portrait.

It's so easy to disappoint people just with the last lines...Minerva as a portrait? I think that she will be happy to find herself again in different kind of existence but always in her beloved school. And with so many other friends! The magical kingdom of portraits is one of the concepts that have fascinated me since the beginning. I'm glad I had the chance to explore it through this story.Thank you very much again! 
One of the best Severus Snape stories I've read and I've read tons of them. Excellent! I'll admit I almost wanted an accident at the end that left him alive but your ending was so much better and real. Thank you!

Thank you very much!I too have been thinking a lot about a possible ending that could allow Severus to remain in a human form. But that would have involved for instance an exchange with the old Master painter, and Severus (well, "my" Severus) wouldn't have accepted it. So, again, thank you very much. Such a review means a lot for a foreign author like me!

WOW!!! Thank you very much! I am very grateful and moved by your words. I too am a SSHG shipper, but not in this site. Posting here requires a long long work of revision of my poor English, so I choose either the shortest pieces or (those I deem) the best ones. In fact, Second Chance has been practically rewritten, which is why it seemed neverending. But I am very glad of the result and extremely happy that you liked it. Thanks again!

That was quite painful to read,Lily is not "in love" with Severus, even though she loves him. There can be no happy ending, for Severus with Lily, but maybe they can make peace.

In my mind, they have made peace. The problem is that, as you pointed out, this is not enough for Severus. But being in love and not being corresponded doesn't happen only to portraits...

Lucius is very bitter, after all he has been through he seems to be realising,his own part in his downfall, it's to bad he had to hurt Severus so much,in the process.
