An astonishingly good story.  How horrible for him  He truly is the bravest character in the books.  Harry faced his death willingly, but Severus faced his possible death for years, and had to associate with Deatheaters, deal with horrors, and be looked down upon by a lot of 'good' folk.  And you have added a sad touch with his feelings for Charity.  Go ahead, turn the knife again!

My heart breaks for your Severus having to watch his amour in this way... the way you spin this is truely captivating.

Short and sweet, but I loved how you were able to paint such a description of their relationship by so few words. I've been writing something similar (the relationship between these two characters, not his sanity), so I'm happy to see another take on them. Maybe I'll make that my first story to post here. :)
