Great chapter - I cannot believe Ron freaked out and said she looked like a slut in her outfit. Poor Severus must be having thoughts in the back of his mind but cannot act on them. The lessions are incredible - you have made them extremely interesting.

Great chapter - I loved how you ran the tutoring lession. At first, I was thinking like Hermione that if she could not get the potion right with the book how could she get it right from memory but then when Severus said after the fact all you had to do was to ask me questions. I was so impressed with the way you had him teaching her. I can actually see Severus doing this and so good work.

That was an interesting chapter.  Ron needs to be slapped, hard. 

This story is growing on me and I am on a fast track to getting a bit adicted:-) Very well written and a wonderful view on the HBP, I hope this will continue during DH too, and most of all, I hope that Hermione will stay annoyed and repulsed   towards Ron, any warmer feelings for that git must  demand removal of a dangerous number of braincells...:-) (Not to mention my severe allergy towards said pairing:-)) Update again soon!!!

I'm enjoying your story and am interested to see what happens next.  Do you mind a little tiny bit of criticism?  I'll pretend you said yes and will continue.  You tend to use the same wording more than once in a chapter.  For example, there are three eye rolls, three jaws dropping, and two jaws slackening, if I counted right.  I'm sure many people wouldn't have noticed, but eye rolls and jaw movements are pet peeves of mine.  Anyway, a chapter isn't really all that long, so repeating a phrase is sort of distracting.  [Also, I highly doubt Hermione would have "guffawed" at Professor Snape. I think Spell Check might have betrayed you there.]  I hope you don't mind my pointing these things out.  I don't want to come across as an ungrateful reader, esp. as I have been too much of a coward to put anything of my own up yet. I do like your story ... you will surely end it better than JKR did!  Thanks for your work!

I like this story.  I like how you've twisted the events of HBP to fit your own nefarious plan.  Bwahaha.  I'm still trying to decide if the sarcastic voice you've given Hermione is in character...  I'll wait and see what develops in chapter 2.
