I'm thrilled for the update. Now I want more. Please!!! We need more Hermione/Snape interaction, and I can't wait to see Shaklebolt get drunk and explain his thoughts on why Harry had so much help convincing Hermione to go to Hogwarts.

I love this story, gives me the warm fuzzies, glad to see it updated! Interesting how you have Shacklebolt as a Slytherin, it would be interesting to see him as a rival to Snape as is.

Though Hermione and Severus don't realize this yet, Thea might be the one who'll help them to show each other the parts of their character they don't know yet. I mean, he is totally diffent when interacting with his own child but she is also very different when interacting with children. I think Snape must call himself lucky the child has inherited his intelligence, since I doubt he could have handled it if the child would have been very clumsy or had the kind of character that doesn't match at all with his..(imagine having him a child like Luna for instance)

And I'm sorry to hear about your troubles in RL. The only good thing about the old fashioned typewriter was that it couldn't crash.. Please don't feel any pressure to rush yourself.. we will wait patiently for another update.

This is a very sweet chapter.  More Thea please!  More Crookshanks please!  I like your premise a lot.  Snape as a kinder, gentler headmaster than Phineas Nigellus Black, but no Dumbledore.   Hermione biting off far more than she can chew, and having to swallow it anyway.  Curious to see how they deal with each other.  Thank you.

I totally love this fic!  There are so many fics where Hermione has a baby and Severus then comes in as the slightly snarky and aloof knight in shinning armour.  I love how the rolls have been swapped.  Very original.
