I agree with the way that you did this chapter. They needed to talk and sometimes it is easier to have those kind of talk in between activities in bed rather than after you are out of it. Takes some of the pressure off of them. Great job. -- B

Glad you like it. The little wheels are turning in my head, thinking about the next chapter already.
I can't wait for the confrontation with Harry, mostly because I'm hoping, praying, and begging that Hermione and/or Severus will hex his sorry arse and he'll leave them alone. I love this story so much so far, it's definitely one of my favorites. The last two chapters were hot. I love your Severus, and I hope (and pray and beg) Hermione realizes just how special he is and decides to keep him forever. 'Cuz if she don't, I will! Great story, I really love it. You're doing an amazing job, and I hope you update soon. I don't think Petulant Poetress sends Update e-mails, so please say you've updated on WIKTT or Potter_Place, or whichever yahoo group you belong to. Please? Pretty please?!

I'm glad to hear that. I was just thinking last night that I don't give enough to keep people interested... not much by way of plot, that is. I've been reading so many wonderful stories that I am continually surprised that people read mine. Then, I thought, well, mine could be thought of as the 'Intermission' ... a little break of sorts. Hahaha. I must see how many 'breaks' I can make people want to take. *lol*

If Voldemort isn't available, perhaps Severus can find some other monster to spoon feed Harry's arse to? What Harry did to Hermione was unconscionable, and I'm dearly hoping that Severus will at least get to hex him a bit. As for Hermione, sometimes we have to suffer through what is all wrong to appreciate what is all right. Judging by this yummy chapter, Hermione is appreciating things just fine! ;)

Yeah, I want to make Harry suffer, too. He is not done being a prat yet, which is really rotten since Hermione is perfectly innocent in all this. I know I'm going to make Harry fans hate me, but they can hop over to one of my other stories and be appeased. *lol*
Now this was a lovely surprise!! I feel like you were reading my mind! I just reread the first four chapters the other night because I enjoyed them so much the first time I read them. When I got to the end of chapter four I began to wonder when you might gift us with a new chapter! Low and behold not a day later chapter five appeared! As always it was a sheer pleasure to read. I love watching Hermione overcome her self doubts and fears about her sexual appeal. I adore Severus and his need to fulfill Hermione’s every discarded and unsatisfied desire. Watching them explore their sensuality and sexuality and all its awkwardness is a beautiful thing to behold! Your talent always astounds me!

I like that you said 'awkwardness' because the whole idea behind this story was to get Severus and Hermione together in a way that was ordinary and believable. Now they're in bed with each other on the first night. Yet, there is caring already in this budding relationship because they do actually have a history ... and Severus is so protective. Ah, we'll have to see what happens next. My muse is telling me to pay attention to this story for a while. ;)

I decided to concentrate on this story for a while, so I'm currently at work on said confrontation ... hope it'll be satisfactory. 
I want Harry to get the beating of a lifetime. for some reason her situation is very familar to me personally and I want her to have some vindication or retribution. Gah I am just a bad person

Not a bad person at all. I think this story is going to be a way to get back at all those boys that do us girls wrong. Yup.
I do not know how I've missed this story. However, I have just thoroughly enjoyed all four chapters. Look forward to the next.Harry or Severus, no contest, Snarry Severus everytime.Best wishes

Thank you. The fifth chapter is short... but I had to write in some afterglow before Harry gets what's coming to him (in this story anyway; usually I love the little blighter).
As usual, You are a master at story you attempt. I've read a few of your stories and some of the ones you've beta'ed and I think you are an amazingly talented and insightful writer. An interesting and innovative angle. I think good ole Sev has enough angst, knight in shining armour and sex God in him to perfectly embody the kinda Sev I'd like to take home. I'm eagerly awaiting the afterglow!Good luck in everything!

Yes, I know I've been very very bad about starting stories and then not updating them. I think I had the oomph taken out of me with HBP. That is not entirely fair, though. I think I was always feeling guilty that I wasn't working on what I should be ... I have since found a serious project that takes more of my research skills than my creative ones. And, what do you know, my oomph kicked me in the butt and I have all these wonderful ideas for fanfiction again. Yay!! Glad I did not disappoint. Thanks, Christy!
