So glad to see a new chapter. Now if Severus can just get his head out of his arse. Hermione is right, though, that it probably was a bit soon to just fall into bed together. ::sighs::

Severus is so peremptory and dominating at this relationship, or this just a sex affair, not even lend on a serious relationship. And he don't want to give any promise or prospect to POOR Hermioe, at least at this moment.Heartbreaking always goes alone with women.....But I know the author will be kindly enough to give us a happy ending. Just bitterness in the process.. ;p

I know, Severus is truly awful, isn't he? Irritating man. Hermione wants a relationship... he knows that... but isn't necessarily ready to give in to that. She jumped into bed with him too quickly. More soon... we'll see if the author is kind enough to give that happy ending. ;)
This is heartbreaking! Poor Hermione, betrayed by so many in such a short period of time. I feel so bad for her. What was Severus's problem? I'm so glad that your muse has reappeared. I loved it (even though it upset me very much). More, pretty please!!!!

I know. Hermione's having a rough time... I wonder if Minerva will say 'I told you so'? ;) Severus is afraid to commit to relationship. He maneouvored her into bed and he thought he could fool her with that for awhile. Men!
Omg, your muse was gone so long I had given up hope for a new chapter. That was a great return, a little angsty though. I truly hope the muse is back because if you make us wait that long for the next chapter, you may find an angry mob at your doorstep. Seriously evil cliffy, you cannot leave us hanging right.

Hmmm. Plenty of surprises in this chapter. Snape's lack of communication bestows of him, and his inability to submit to a relationship that might pass the sex-only phase is more in tune with what I think of him than I realised before. I'm happy you are continuing this. I considered it abandoned.

I honestly tried to write it with him happily besotted in an effort to get to the end. He wouldn't have any of that. Stubborn, selfish man... but I think that's why we love him.
No, not abandoned. I've just been terribly busy. I keep a LJ that I post bits of how progress is going. I have no plans of leaving fandom. Thanks!

No, never abandonned... just delayed. I'm sorry about that. Severus can handle himself, not to worry. And, yes, I think that Minerva is actually my favourite character in this story... I don't agree with her, but I love writing her. :) Thank you!
Severus... *sigh* He sure knows how to stick his foot in it, doesn't he? Granted that she didn't really give him a good reason to back off... Why is he so very defensive, anyway? Those seemed like fairly innocuous words to me.

I'm curious (or maybe forgetful) as to who is helping out with the plan. And I'm looking forward to seeing the plan in action. Poor Ron. Hee.

Severus has his reasons for being defensive and he predicted where the discussion would soon go and it was someplace he didn't want to tread. Annoying man. ;)
Only people in on the plan are Severus, Hermione, & Draco. Next chapter is Harry's party. :)

I read this story this morning before work, and had to come back to review. You really did have me going every which way for a moment there: first I thought he had a ring in his pocket and was going to propose - but then he was obviously Evil!Ron with date rape drugs! But no - Veritaserum... plus a good way to get Severus in the scene with providing the antidote. Ooooh, and couldn't you just slap Molly Weasley!Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next update.

I'm glad that you liked it, more to come. Ron didn't really realize that he'd get her drunk like that. He didn't pay that close attention to the interaction between Veritaserum and alcohol. Yes, I wonder how Severus will react too... I guess we'll find out together.

Good start and interesting premise. I figured that was coming when I realized he'd slipped her some Veritaserum. I find it hard to read your story without wanting to send you a list of beta things.
