:D Revenge is coming... although not nearly as quickly as I had planned. ;)
Hee. Happiness is the best revenge I think. And I liked how Snape slipped in his dressing down by McGonagall. And the comment that Hermione now felt what Snape did trying to get Potter and Weasley to be made accountable for their acts in the past.

Snape was rather clever in what he said to Hermione about McGonagall. He's just been rather devious all around... still is, actually. ;)
You know--Snape *was* right to report Ron. That was an appalling abuse and I'd kick him off any law enforcement program for it. Doesn't mean Snape isn't a snake to do it. Though I doubt Salazar would be proud. Not a cunning thing to do if he wanted Hermione to think well of him was it? *scampering to next chapter to read more*

LOL! Snape wanted revenge and really, he wasn't fully after Hermione. SHe was the one who proclaimed an interest in him, so why should he worry about pissing her off too much? (That's what one side of his brain is thinking, at least...)
I remember reading the first few chapters on OWL, then life roared over me and I couldn't continue. I thouroughly enjoyed reaquainting myself with the story, and am happy there's still more ahead of me to read--espeically given how you left us with that cliffie.
