Wait ... what? How did I not review this before?! Shame on me! Of course, that just means that I had to read it again, and having to reread well-written smutty fanfic is such a hardship for me, as you can well imagine. But I'll endure ... *insert dramatic sigh*This little story is such a treat. It is such an awful myth that when you are married, your sex life goes down the drain. I love how this is a secret rendezvous of sorts, and get all down and dirty with their filthy language and taunting of one another. The need for one another is so intense by the end that you can just feel it. And then, they are back to normal, strolling hand in hand through the corridors, scaring young people. Love it!

Thank you so much - I always look so forward to your encouraging and uplifting comments. I have come to realise that, even though I am known for writing 'lemons' or 'smut', that I am unable to do 'casual'. I love writing about passionate people, and their passion for one another, but I cannot write a one-night stand or infedelity. There has to be some emotional connection for me, or I can't do it.I am a complete romantic, and even when I write at my raunchiest, my characters have to have some depth of feeling for one another, or else I just can't do it. I'm so glad that this story conveys that - because that's what I love to read as well as love to write.

How can anyone hope to write another word with any confidence when you've said all there was to say about Severus Snape and Hermione, leaving nothing for anyone else? (pout)

What a wonderful description of a complicated intimacy between two complicated people. I love how you manage to combine PWP with strong characters and development. And the power-play. So balanced and yet so frail.This is a wonderful description of a moment in time.
