my catalyst into the world of hp fanfic was the ignominious death of severus snape by snakebite in dh. grrrrr. he deserved better, and i set off on a mission to find it! i appreciate and admire the vast and limitless creativity of all of the wonderful writers on this site and in this fandom.
accordingly, for me it's mostly about snape: ss/le, ss/hg, ss/rl are my favorite ships. i especially like happy endings for those who did not get them at the hands of jkr.

LOL! Oh, I so enjoy how you write Snape! So sarcastic on the surface but can be quite 'soft' inside... if we look closely. :DAnd your portrayal of Remus is dead-on as well!You make this pairing feel like canon!

thank you, hon! that is exactly how i see snape. and - squeee! i love that you think i write this pairing so it feels like it could be canon because i always try to keep them as close to canon as possible while still allowing them to be soul mates. lol. *hugs*

Aw, Snape is a big softie, hidden under a harsh, black shell. How could he resist Lupin? The man loves animals and Queen. He obviously has taste."Some things are not meant to be moderate or sensible, Severus... Like us..." That's why they are perfect for each other. Another wonderful glimpse into the lives and loves of the Potions master and his werewolf companion. I love it, Kitty!

Aww. and LOLI just love how Snape is fighting a lost battle here - not that he is fighting all that much ;DAnd how Lupin is talking to the animal. Lovely. "It's a cat! It has a built-in fur coat!" - favourite sentence (and, er, you know who would say just the same... lol).And I bet - despite all the nagging and complaining - that it's Snape, who remembers to purchase food and to get them to the vet and such. :D :D :DWhat a wonderful response to my prompt/request. OMG! I d/l'ed a bunch of Queen songs today and 'Killer Queen' was one of them...and it was stuck in my head most of the day. Including while I was reading this! Sadly, I did not make the connection with the pets' names until Freddie was mentioned.

hee hee. but you may not have been aware of remus's obsession. ;) in fact, i've written another story, karaoke night, in which i suggest that these two have some history involving queen/freddie mercury. thanks so much for the review and the stars. :D
