Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

What a wonderful chapter! The insight you provided into everyone's thoughts and fears was truly enlightening. And what a brillian way for Snape to communicate with Hermione.Well done!

Thanks! *hugs* :)
I bet Severus is a bit more content now that knows Hermione never lost her faith in him. If anything, it only made those feelings stronger. Which is good, considering he's going to need her help in order to complete his task.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Very true. :)
Thank you so much for the update. I am so glad you are giving Severus what JKR didn't; someone who believes in him, trust him and cares for him!

Thank you for the review! :)

Thanks, sweetie! :)
I think the easy friendship between Severus and Hermione is exactly what they need from each other. It would seem that they are starting to develop some sort of feelings for each other. Far from lust, but they do seem to be more than friends at this point.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
They definitely care about each other at this stage. :)

“How do you stay so young looking, Mum?”
“Love, my darling. Love keeps us all young.”
Really? Really? That's just...
I think I"m gonna be sick.
Author's Response: Yet I know you love me, sweetie. xox

can severus wear purple itights in the next chapter?
Author's Response: He wears them under his Death Eater robes. Sort of a private joke really. ;)
I bow my head in amazement and delight at the skill of your telling.... more soon, please. This is the most believable SS/HG I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Well done indeed

Excellent !!! Something wonderful to anticipate whilst toiling away at my own tale !!!
Lots of good hurt/comfort stuff here. My favorite genre, actually.

Glad you enjoy it. :)
Excellent character relationship development. It will be interesting to see how you play out the night on the Tower.

Most scenes in canon will only be referred to as far as they impact on these two characters. I have tried as much as possible in this to write the story in the 'in-between' times, and avoid quoting large amounts of canon dialogue, but still keep it believable as something that could have happened behond the scenes in the books. I hope you continue to enjoy the story! Thanks for reviewing! :)
I'm dreading the night of Albus' death. How can Severus cope with the act he's going to do. And he won't have his personnal "hugger" to comfort him.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
It will be a tough time. :)

you know, the ONLY reason you get away with this rubbish is that it's so well written.
Author's Response: I'm impressed you are even brave enough to read it, Wench! :P
Hurray for Hermione for convicing Harry to clear Severus name! Well done...
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks, Marty! :)
Is there a big conversation planned once arrived at the cottage? I hope so.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
You'll see. ;)
What a great story! Fabulous, wonderful characters!

Thank you. :)
Beautiful story! I adore it when Severus is not too reluctant to accept Hermione in one way or another. Thank you for the amazing reading piece!
Author's Response: Thank you. 😁

I take back what I said yesterday. Undercover's not horrible. THIS is horrible. I need a bucket.
Author's Response: Any preference as to colour? Perhaps a pretty pink one with teensy tiny lilac flowers and a recurring love-heart motif? :P
I'm so happy Hermione was able to be reunited with Severus long enough to save his life. Not too much longer, and they can be together, if he's not taken to Azkaban that is.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Thanks. :)
oh...boy...you are just killing me....this story is phenomenal...I can't wait until the next part....I just love the Snape--Hermione relationship...it seems so natural...it just flows...

Another excellent chapter! Yea for Hermione for calling him a cantankerous old bastard to get him to wake up lol.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Hehe. Worked well, didn't it? :)
Another fine chapter. I must remember that trick for reviving the dead - a bit of dittany & call them a cantankerous bastard - works every time. Well done, Healer Sunny.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Silent Support)
Shhh. Don't tell everyone all the secrets! ;)
