Enjoy!
Reviews for To Conquer Her
I don't know if she will cope with this or try to flee again. She seems very depressed at the moment.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Where would she go? He's got that dream connection...
I can see how this must be shocking news for her. But it will also give her the oportunity to get to know him. And maybe discover he's not as bad and spoiled as she thinks he is.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I know right? I think this is just like... that thing at the end of a long day that sets you off just because your day was so crappy.Except for her it's been like 8 years, and she has to live with him :-D
I'm soooo sorry. I've been very busy and had to leave pleasure reading material for a while. I hope the worst is behind me so I catch up on the story.
I wonder if Draco will share her, were they to decide to stay in the community?
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Draco doesn't really seem like the sharing type, does he? However... he does seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to get Hermione.*ponders*Thanks for reviewing!
I'm going to suffer in class tomorrow because I cannnot stop reading your story. OMG! So well written, Sapphire!
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Aww shoot! You know just what a grrl wants to hear! More is in the queue, darling!
Hmm...hmm. I can't imagine what's going to happen next.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
*twinkles*I can't wait to see what you think about it!
I truly wonder how all othis will change Lucius' bahaviour. And maybe Draco's in the same time. Unless spending time with these people teaches a thing or two about life and women.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I know what you mean. Is Lucius too old of a dog to learn new tricks?...Now that Draco is within arm's reach, you should definitely expect to see a lot more out of him. ...I'm just not going to tell you what yet. Thanks for reviewing!
Great story! I love original stories with familiar characters. They are so refreshing. I also truly love a strong Hermione. Keep up the great work. Hoping that you update soon. I can't wait to read more.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
More is in the queue now, so hopefully it won't be too long!I'm glad that you are finding something new out of my story. It's inspired by other fics, and I'm glad to hear that you think it stands apart. Thanks for reviewing!
I love this. I really do. It just keeps getting better and better.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Thanks!...more is in queue...
I loved how she just dominated the situation. Still, I wonder how Draco will finally win her over, if he ever does. His present tactics are certainly lacking. Does he truly love her or even has real affection or is she just his grand obsession?
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I think Canon Hermione totally dominates and I really like that about her....How, indeed? *twinkles*The polls aren't in yet on the last one, so you'll definitely want to put your vote in!Thansk for reviewing!
Response from joyfulheart (Reviewer)
Even though he is arrogant I still really like this Draco. I believe he really loves her but has no way of recognizing the fact because of his upbringing. If he gets past trying to be the dominant one all the time he might get somewhere with her. If this is so then she would also need to meet him somewhere in the middle.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Yes--It is definitely easy to see how being not only very upper class but also raised no Blood Purity, Draco might not have a full view of the world.I think he has good base values though: dedication to his family, the will to work hard, and a discerning eye. He's nobody's fool.
That's it?? I was kind of hoping for more. :/ Great story, though.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Aw! Thanks so much! And... There is more! I'm currently working on a sequel, To Claim Him, which I will start getting up here once I get the other works in progress sortedThanks so much for reading and reviewing!
The meeting between the two will be explosive. I'm looking forward to that chapter with a lot of curiosity aboit how things will go.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I find everything with DM/HG to be explosive! Can't wait to see what you think of what's next!
Just found this, great story so far. I love that Hermione isn't putting up with crap. Maybe Draco will figure out what he's been doing wrong soon.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Mmmmmmaybe he will.Thanks for reviewing!
OMG!! She stands absolutely no chance against him. Unless a certain wizard came to her rescue... Or maybe not. Anyway, I'll stay tuned for the next that I hope will soon follow.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Oooo, someone is guessing! I like it. I can't wait to see what you think of what comes of our damsel in distress! Thanks for reviewing!
It's a wonderfull story!! I LOVED IT!! You are an amazing writer!!! Kisses =]
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
WOW! Thanks!
I'm glad Draco found someone who cold make him see his mistakes and be ashamed of it. I'm sure he'll have to work hard to enter his father-in-law's good graces. A grand-child will surely helps things a bit.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
Isn't that how it always is? The since of the children are redeemed by the grandchildren!
He's getting to her, the brat. :)
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I know! What a... Slytherin thing to do!
That was fairly drastic. Wonder where she has gone?
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
*twirls mustache*
Be careful what you wish for, Draco. :)
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
ah, the brilliant ideas of teenage boys!
I think Hermione forgot to tell her parents who she was getting married too...
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
oh no, they know... but I think they are reserving judgement until they get to meet the little ferret in person!
I love the idea that hermione's dad is into punk rock...HA! excellent. also, well done with the explanation of how hermione kept in contact with her parents. very interesting. and hermione can apparate from australia to england in one go??!? wow...can all wizards/witches do that or is it an effect of hermione's training?
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I don't know that she made it all in one burst, but I don't thnk that we need to know all the stops she made, just that she gets there.
Response from mock_turtle (Reviewer)
okay. thanks :)
Aaw/Yay! I'm surprised her parents didn't have more of a problem with it, but then, they'd be used to it, wouldn't they? I liked the keyword- very cute, and handy, since nobody would say that to their dentist. Draco's still abusive by most definitions, what with controlling everything she wears and everywhere she goes, manipulating her emotions, then getting at her friends when she rebels, but (as everyone tends to say) maybe he'll get better with time? You'd hope that his mage studies would have knocked him down a bit, but it looks like his down-knocking is yet to come.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
You know, I never really thought about Draco's actions in this chapter as controlling. I mean, Hermione did sort of make a deal with him about the clothes the other day, and she did ask him to take care of his mother for her.She did leave the house without his permission though... definitely a grey zone...
I can't wait to see Narcissa's reaction. Should be priceless to see her struggle with Muggles in her house. And the way Hermione kept them informed of her life is very clever.
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
well, it's possible that there have been Muggles in the Manor before, but never like this!
I haven't read as much Draco/Hermione, but this was a fantastic read! I liked that they were able to work through things together, and that you showed how proud & supportive Lucius was as a dad. (Even if it was ultimately to his benefit--but still, a year away from work to help his son? That's a lot for any father.)Thanks for sharing!
Response from sapphire_phoenix (Author of To Conquer Her)
I have such a hate-love relationship with Lucius. I can't ever seem to write him as a hero, or even a love interest, but the villainy usually stems from something as simple as wanting to make the world what he thinks it should be.Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. I'm so glad you liked it!
