Reviews for Unlikely Allies
How nice to see Remus and Tonks. I really felt bad that they died in canon.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
As did we, which was why we brought them back here. This is truly the wonderful thing about fanfiction--if there's something in canon we don't like, we can very easily imagine our own versions of it! :)~lyn_f
Nice start, Hermione would be a great teacher.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
We believed so, as well. :)~lyn_f
I enjoyed this chapter very much. Not only does the newly made discovery seem a cure for Hermione possible, but also their friendship is progressing. I think Snape might be getting something out of the deal as well, he just doesn't realise it yet.I really like this story of yours. Of course I hope the cure for Hermione will be found. I just can't imagine how Ron is going to react once he finds out about the curse and the effects it has on Hermione. I, as a significant other, don't think I might react ecstatic when I find out my partner has not trusted me with such a vital information about his/her health.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
*waves at apisa*Thanks so much! :) The cure will eventually be found, but it will take a while for them to get there. You will see how Ron reacts ... it'll be forthcoming. :)Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)~lyn_f
It seems she's helping him in her own way. Poor man is marveling that she'd pay him any attention at all!
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
That's very true ... she's made it very clear she wants to help him ...Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)~lyn_f
Their relationship is quite enjoyable.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Indeed. Just wait 'til they're working in the lab together. ;)Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)~lyn_f
Things are heading in an interesting direction.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
You'll see. ;)Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)~lyn_f
Another good chapter... looking forward to the next!
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Thanks so much! Don't worry; this story is not abandoned. We'll be updating this one soon. :)Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)~lyn_f
Progress is being made, both in the research and in the friendship. :)
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Indeed, it is. :)Thanks for reading and reviewing. :)~lyn_f
She needs to concentrate on something good. Like her birthday and the love in her life. Despite the fact that he's not for her.
Ok, if Poppy apparates right to her at the first sign of trouble, I hope things stay stress free in the bedroom. That could be awkward for all parties involved ;)
LOL. Now if Ron didn't give her the birthday present, who did? :)
Ron is sweet, but where is that weak blood thing coming from. Anyway, I rather like their relationship. I usually don't.
Poor Hermione. I hope she will be true to her word to heed the instructions of Severus and Poppy. But not stressing herself doesn't seem to be realistic, knowing Hermione's personality. Now that Snape has something to do besides teaching, he seems more open and approachable.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Yes, Hermione tends to stress over the smallest thing. Severus is really a nice guy. He just doens't like anyone to know. LOL
So we finally know what's causing her fainting spells: a curse. And Snape is no hearless bastard, despite giving the impression of being one. Thank god I still have another chapter to read.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Yes, Severus does have a good side, no matter how much he tries to hide it. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing.
I like it when Severus takes charge! :)
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Yes, he's very good at that. Thanks for the review and the rating, Sunny.
Of course, keeping Ron from stressing Hermione might require murder.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Hehe you're right, Artemis. We can only hope that he has grown up some. Thanks for reviewing. Chapter 6 is in the queue.
At least they know what's wrong and Severus can find a cure. Glad Harry's in on it and Ron's not. He'd make her more stressed, I think. But I do think it might 'stress' their relationship when he finds out what's up.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Yes, Ron has a way of doing that. As for their relationship, you may be right. We'll have to see. Thanks Deb!
Keep her stress to a minimum? Under the heading of 'type A' personality it would say, "See Hermione Granger." LOLIt's nice to see Severus so concerned. I'm confident he will find a cure and get the girl. Now if only you could create a truly compatible witch for Ron...
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Oh, yes, Hermione is a go getter. As for Severus getting the girl, I can't really say right now. You will have to keep reading and find out. Thanks for the review.
This is wonderful.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Thank you. It's a lot of fun to write. Chapter 6 is almost on its way to beta.
If I were surrounded by all those kids, I'd think twice about marrying a Weasley. I wonder if Hermione is cut out for married life and motherhood. Am I getting too far ahead?
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
That is the question du jour, isn't it? Keep reading; hopefully all will be answered in due time. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
With the Weasleys it's always lound and chaotic, but in a nice way.Just ... why did Ron feel the urge to propose publicly? I almost cringed when I read that part of the story.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
He did it in the presence of family. They'd been pressuring him forever to propose, so it would seem natural that he'd propose in their presence. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Your Ron sounds a lot like my husband when we were young. I wonder what's the matter with Hermione's health. A long term effect from the war? For a pregnancy heartburn is too early, I'd say ....I enjoyed this story and am curious what lays ahead.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Hmmm. Well, only time will tell what is wrong with her. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Your Ron is quite likeable. He seems to have matured.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Thank you. I have to warn you though. He will have his moments.
Response from debjunk (Reviewer)
I don't doubt it! He wouldn't be Ron without them.
I like this....is Hermione pregnant? She has the symptoms.
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
You sound like someone who speaks from experience. It's hard to tell at this time. We'll have to see. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Very nice work -- I like the positive spin on Ron and Hermione's relationship, although I'm generally an SS/HG shipper myself. Nice character presentation, kudos -- and the "antacid potion" made me chuckle :) Some things I'd love to hear more about: What's Hermione been up to thus far? Did she just finish her internship? What were her plans for the future anyway? Also, what's the source of Ron's hesitation to ask Hermione to marry him? He knows that she's the one he wants to spend his life with, but .... ? Keep up the good work! Looking forward to chapter 2!
Response from Romione Ravendor (Author of Unlikely Allies)
Thank you for the lovely review. It's nice to see that although you are a very big SS/HG fan that you are giving this story a shot. Chapter 2 is actually already written, as is many other chapters. They are just waiting for betaing and to give SW a break. I promise all will be answered. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
