In their final year at Hogwarts, two very different girls face their own battle with the continuing rise of the Dark Lord, encountering along the way shattered friendships, broken hearts, a charming blond Death Eater with a twisted plan, and a secret that could rock the foundations of the Wizarding world. Once more, the stern Potions master will have to do the impossible and offer his protection. Will he succeed?
Set during Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix and mostly canon compliant.

Whoa...intense. I wonder why she didn't just go to the hospital wing. I also wonder if her impromptu bloodletting eliminated the poison. And just what the hell is Dumbledore thinking?!? I know I will find out eventually but gah! The man is nuts!

Hmm... I hate that Morgana is in danger. Charis may be better off staying away from both Morgana and Snape-- but that wouldn't be nearly as much fun to read.

It seems that whatever spell Lucius has cast on Morgana to make her want him was also cast on Severus to make him want Charis. After all, hadn't Lucius threatened Severus with telling the Dark Lord that Severus has betrayed him by interfering with Lucius' seduction of Morgana? It seems like the kind of twisted plan Lucius would have.Well done!Beth

Lucius, yes. We are not that twisted. LOLBut as much as there is friction between Lucius and Severus, Lucius still believes him to be on "their" side and thus a mudblood would be below him.And the dear Potions master's wand has a mind of its own :-PGlad you're still with us and enjoying the story.S&M

Well, maybe contrary to the general impression in this site, I'm still not very keen about a teacher getting involved with students 20 years younger. I feel like that's there's something fundamentally wrong with it. It isn't just that it's Snape.

Many writers and readers seem to forget about Snape's age now and then. We find that fiction is a safe place to explore fantasies, and teacher/pupil is one of the oldest fantasies in the book.Guilty as charged ;-)

What a cliff hanger! I was worried when I saw the chapter title. Poor Morgana... I hope she's okay. I think Severus almost giving in to her is far sexier than anything! Nice work.

Ok, not to be nitpicky, but a 360 turn would put someone right where they started, so for Morgana to have a complete flip in her feelings for Lucius and Snape it would be a 180. Anyway, I still don't know what I think about Snape and Charis, even though he is now sexybitch!snape lol. The idea is growing on me. The charmed necklaces are a fantastic idea. I can't wait to see the resolution of this evil cliffie!

Thank you for pointing out the error, maths is not a strong point! We have corrected this. I hope you'll get used to sexybitch!Snape as there will be plenty more of him! And thank you for the comment about the necklaces - we like them very much too.
And here I was expecting Sev to give her a quick shag before taking her to the manor so she was pregnant with his child instead of Lucius'.

Plotting is well under way, and we are hoping to start writing again in a few weeks time. Hopefully, we will start posting in the summer.
