“The password is ‘frogs in winter’ should you care to visit."That made me laugh out loud. Perfect. I felt so sorry for poor Hermione when it looked like her Valentine's Day was going to be a bust. I cheered when Severus saved the day with his elaborate ruse in the storage room. Proving himself a consummate Slytherin, he not only got his snog, but secured the contraceptive potion without any questions. Brilliant man. I was sorry to see this end, but it was a sweet and hot ending, full of promise and hope.From the way he kissed back, holding her close like some rare treasure fallen into his lap, Severus Snape agreed.Who could want a better ending than that?! Sigh!! 

That's all there is?  I thought you said that it wasn't short!  I was expecting at least 10 chapters.  Well, as long as you keep writing, I don't mind how long the chapters are.  I love all of your work.

Brilliant! I lvoe the way the two of them convinced Sprout that it was her idea that they need not be chaperoned, and the way they got around old Sluggers. The idea of the Sorting Hat being used for such arrangements was very brilliant.

I adore your smirking Sorting Hat. Anything that keeps Hermione and Ron apart works for me, but it's lovely to see such a creative use for the hat. It was touching to realize Severus had received a name from the hat and never expected to hear another. After all that rampant tea drinking, I am delighted they have progressed to bantering in coded double entendres. Let the research projects begin!

Hahaha... only Severus and Hermione could use such fabulous inuendo in an intellectual discussion and get away with it. I just love the premise of this story!

VERY nice!  And like a starving woman "presented with a feast" I would greedily love to read more but I liked your ending.  It made me smile for their happy future.  Thanks so much for posting this.

Oh the cruelty! How could this story have only 2 chapters. What a horrible tease! This cannot possibly be the end of the story! There are so many Friday nights left in the school year.  And the shock of the naysayers at the end of the school year when they see Severus Snape kissed like he's water after a long trek in the desert.  "Who would want to kiss him indeed!" Do they marry before Hermione finishes her higher education? They can't move in together since he's a teacher. I vote for marriage and college at the same time.  Severus and Madame Snape should not be forced to be separated when Hermione graduates from Hogwarts. 

And the Ministry can go to hell if they decide they don't want to have children. Hermione deserves to not to have to deal with the glass ceiling and mommy track. I've seen how it affects women's careers.  It isn't our fault that we are the ones who have to be pregnant and the only ones with lactating breasts. Hermione should never have to suffer the indignity of having to negotiate time and space to pump her breasts at work. Take it from the breastlady herself. We can't have it all. One person can only do so much and Nannies aren't mothers. If they absolutely must pass on the Snape name, they can choose instead to adopt a war orphan that is already school aged. Or, they can just have a long life of traveling, researching, talking, laughing and having sex until they die, on the same day preferably. 

Please give us more please please please!At least one more chapter when they go all the way.

What a lovely long chapter!  I am truly enjoying this novel approach to the post war population optimization and expansion compared to the marriage law, though it provides great fodder for many extremely entertaining plot bunnies.  I am anxious to read about the practical application of this approach to arranged wizarding marriage, especially since the subject is regarding my favorite couple. I am completely fascinated by the myriad of ways authors are able to arrange for their romantic association. 

I keep coming back to this story for inspiration.
