Minerva is as bad as Albus, who is--thankfully--very quiet in your story. I like Betty. Being tied to her unfaithful husband after she'd tried to get rid of him would make everyone ask for a new painting. I wonder if she and Minerva would get along? Did they even ever meet?

Snape so modest and friendly -- how odd this reads :-) Thankfully the students are still dunderheads to him. I'm looking forward to this story, just wasnted to leave a note.

Huh, mould? Is it Burbage's fault or is the tower ready and this is why the makeshift quarters go into decay?I'm glad Hermione didn't list all her bad experience to Severus, but maybe she could remember one or two? To us when he's not there? Could she maybe also realise that Severus did not hurt her intentionally? You leave me puzzled with the mould, but that's all you intended, I'm sure.

Is Prof Burbage hexing the slytherins to be smelly? That is very unkind. It seems like Mr. Vaisey and company are trying to problem solve. I think Severus is on to something!! Way to go Betty for dropping the hint!! Wheeeee

Well now, this is an interesting turn of events...mould, stinky Slytherins, and Slytherins on the late night prowl. Hmm, it's interesting that the students would go to Severus with their problems but didn't go to him about the problems in their quarters.Betty and Salazar...how interesting! I must admit she is a rather unique and striking character. I like how she is partial to Severus.As for Hermione, hmmm, I think Severus needs to work in the garden again and lose the shirt again.  Here's hoping the holidays don't hinder another chapter being posted quickly. I am really loving this story.

What is it with Slytherins? They're smelling NOT nice, there is mould growing on their belongings and they prefer to be outside their common room. I'm sure they'll be glad to move into Slytherin tower. And Burbage should fear for his arse if Severus gets after him.

Another great cliffie. Now where is it leading? Mould, stinky students, and something amiss in the Slytherin common room. Clearly Burbage is up to something more serious than an Anti-Deoderant Hex, but what? No clue what's going on, but of course I trust you -- just like I trust that you're going to let poor Severus out of the doghouse with Hermione.

Poor Severus.  He is so frustrated he even thought about resigning from Hogwarts.  But he won't.  Our Severus is made of sterner stuff than that.  (But I think Hermione is taking too long... after all, this is Severus we're talking about here... I'd be down the corridor and into his rooms faster than you could say "Bob's your uncle!"  Tee hee.)Slytherins out after curfew because they can't bear to be in their own House.  The smell of damp dog.  Slytherin students' robes always looking stained and unwashed.  Mould growing on their trunks.Hummmmm... Oh, now I'm intgrigued!  What has Severus figured out?  I know it's hard on Severus, but I like them going slowly.  Hermione did explain herself.  She just needs a bit of reassurance that he's not going to kiss and run, I think.  Lovely dinner and a great approach to a kiss.  Lol.
