This was lovely. I was a little worried initially, wondering what Hermione's problem was - having the story told from Severus's point of view made it all the more interesting. An important moment, well captured!

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Hmm, Severus is an interesting character to play with! :) I hope when her problem is revealed, it wasn't anti-climax to the whole building up. But then, it is an important moment, isn't it? Especially considering Severus' background.Thank you for your review, I really appreciate it.

Beautiful I loved this.  I liked the description of his 3 looks, it's exactly how I imagaine him.  I'd love another chapter set after the baby is born to observe his response to it.  So very sweet.

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Oh, I don't know... I always thought of this as a one-shot, really. But that's an idea I might want to look into. No promises though...Thank you for your review! :)

nice story and characterisation

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Thank you! :) Severus' character has always fascinates me. I supposed I have to thank JK for creating him (even though she did what she did in the last book...)

You brought a smile to my romantic self with this little one shot. I like that Severus was the one to wait till Hermione was ready. That feels authentic. well done

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Oh, a big name in SS/HG fandom! Thank you for your time in reviewing. I really appreciate it. :)I think for various reasons, it's more believable that Severus do the waiting. Hermione was young, anyway. And parenting is more that getting her pregnant. It needs both side of the parties to be involved and support each other.I'm glad it brought a smile to you. :)

Very nice. I like how you've made him still prickly, but open to her underneath the prickliness. He is calculating even as he is loving - I find that quite believable.

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! Writing Severus is not easy (I bow to others who did him very well). He is calculating because he doesn't want to jump to the wrong conclusion. I find that most problem with married couples nowadays caused by their inability to communicate to each other. Hermione's reason was really a small matter, but Severus didn't make it worse. That's what important.Thank you for reviewing!

What a great story to read. The depth of feelings for each other and how they learned to resond to each other was fantastic. Well done!Looking forward to your next story.

And one is being written as we speak. :)I think one factor that make me stay in this fandom is because of the capability for them to go to such depth for each other. Severus doesn't always show it, but he does love his wife - lucky Hermione!Thank you for your review, I'm glad you like it.

That was really sweet, it was lovely! The detail put into the "moods" descriptions were great, and you really captured Severus' character!

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Thank you for your review! It took me some time to think on the details on the 'moods', I'm glad you like it. Severus is not an easy character to write - but it was fun. Thanks!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! Thanks for reviewing. :)

What a great story! Most people skip over this part of the relationship, assuming pregnancies are either by accident or induced by other outside factors. They forget that two people can get together and decide to joyfully bring a child into this world. Well done!

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Yes, that's what I thought. It made me wonder how Hermione going to bring up the news to her husband knowing that, in her mind, Severus doesn't want any child - yet. Severus being a good Potions master certainly help matters as well - providing an effective contraception potion. I'm very glad you like this story. Thank you for the review! :)

Oooh, yay! That was a lovely, tender, soft-ish (because anything with Severus can't be that soft, now can it?) story.I really like how you described how they lived together. There are all sorts of possibilities as to how they would live together, and I really liked this one. You didn't take away from Severus' personality at all. He still hides his emotions, but can love. In his own way, but he still can love. Anyway, I loved this story!Thank you so much.~Katie

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

No, no, Severus can't be that soft, indeed! :P He was softer in the first draft though! Lol. I'm really glad you love this one! I was quite nervous to submit it at first, being my first fanfic and all. Thank you for your review! :)

You described that situation and the protagonists' feelings very well.

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Thank you! The first draft was quite different from this. I had to rewrite some scenes many times because when I read it again, it struck me that 'That's not Severus...'.I'm glad you like it!

This is an interesting little study of their martial relationship!

Angel Mischa's response: Hahaha! I mean marital, but martial works too!

Author's Response: LOL! They could get into martial action somewhere between the lines there... :P

But thank you for your review! I'm glad you like it! :)

Ah, I want Severus to give me the "Come here or Else" look! Squeeee! Seriously, now: what a nice take to their relationship. A very wise way to check somebody's moods, and so simple: ask a question, observe the answer, there you have it. As ALWAYS, a brilliant work! (I am becoming an obsessed fan! Bewaaaare!)

Response from zyra (Author of Fulfilling A Yearning)

Lol, I want him to look at me that way too! ^_^Thank you so much for your kind words. *g* Hey, do you have any prompt/request that you like? Or perhaps any genre that you like? Romance? Hurt/Comfort maybe? I will try my best to write you a story *cough*for being my obsessed fan*cough*.Let me know! :)
