I dedicate this fic to my friend Kim who came up with this theory about why Snape hates Sirius.

Severus now knows that Sirius didn't have anything to do with Lily and James dying. And if that is the reason he hated him then what does he have to hate him for now.

This was before he found out that he didn't have anything to do with it. As for why he still hates Sirius, it could have been a lot of reasons. I often wonder if he felt short changed because Harry was so close to Sirius after he found out the truth. After all, he loved Lily and had things gone differently harry might have been his son.
Then again there was the whole thing with almost being killed by Remus because of Sirius.

Oh, how sad! I'm not surprised that Snape wouldn't go back and apologize. Good thing Sirius escaped that night. Now there's a chance for them to reconcile. If only someone would write it… (hint) because JKR sure didn't!
