I have no idea where to start. No idea how to describe how much I love this story. Lucius and Hermione are one of my favourite ships and so few people seem to write about them compared to Hermione and Severus. So firstly I would like to thank you for writing the story around that ship and second, you had me gripped from chapter one right through till the very end. I did in fact read the story yesterday but couldn’t function well enough to type a review (time zones and sleep being needed instead!)  I will admit I did cry openly when Lucius *left*. The tears were pouring down my face, which didn’t even happen when Sirius fell through the veil in book five.  Thank you so much-wonderful and fantastic, exciting and gripping.  I loved it. ~KC

I'm starting to read Hermione/Lucius fics as is a pairing I discover recently, but I have being a Ginny/Severus supporter for a long long time and I want to know their story. You said in your A/N that there would be a sequel. Did you started it already? Can I find it somewhere? If not, I hope you'll have it soon. It have been so long since I've read a good Ginny/Severus fic.

Hey, sorry I haven't left a review before, but I've just wanted to read on, but this wasa very evil cliffy!!!!!! Thats just mean, but I spose stories do have to have some evil cliffies, so I will forgive you as it makes people want to read on :P Loving the story so far, at first I was a bit confussed by the coupling, but i felt that I just had to read it, to find out how you had portrayed them, and I think that it's great! I won't rate just yet, but I will when I have finished.

Have I told you how much I am enjoying this story? I haven't told you enough. I love the Severus/Ginny thing. Great twist and if you look at it in age, he and Ginny would have about the same age difference as Lucius.

I also love that Ginny obviously has a crush on Severus. I can't wait to read more.

Do you know what I have always wondered? If these magical portraits ever watch all the naughty stuff that goes on in the room. Like the goings-on of the last chapter. When I read "You're a shame to the family!" that is exactly what I thought: Uh-oh! Forgot Father was watching. Darn voyeuristic paintings. *teehee*He kissed her! He kissed her! (I am doing a happy dance.)

That soap was the greatest invention ever. I read this twice. The bathroom scene is downright steamy. Love it. I am anxiously awaiting the time when Lucius can relax and accept that someone could love him. (More soon, please?)

It is an interesting concept, and one that I can easily see. I am always of the mind that even people who do evil deeds have a good side. Perhaps one we may never see, but there is always the good to counterpoint the bad.
This chapter affected me so much, I am having trouble finding the words to use. The dream sequence was very nice; the "spectre" guiding her was beautiful. Lucius using the piano to express his pain was so perfect, and how she became mesmerized by it...I think that was my favorite part. I felt very deeply how Lucius' pain turned into Hermione's pain. I am glad she finally saw his scarred face and I am really looking forward to further chapters.
Can I squeeze any more into this review? *lol* Honestly, this is my favorite chapter yet.
