such angst, he is not wanting to get emotionally involved and fighting it so hard, she is torn between being pissed-off at the curse and getting caught up in the feelings ... ahhh lovely!

Please, please, please tell us that Morgen, that scabbed over, festering boil on a troll's toe will at some point get slathered in ferret oil and buggered by a rabid hippogriff of gigantuan proportions?  Please?  I'll make you cookies.  Truly though, I never thought you would write a character that I would hate more than Fleur Delacour in Draught, but you did... and absolutely wonderfully so. With each new piece you come out with your writing grows by leaps and bound, and this is truly wonderful.  Your OC's are brilliantly multidimensional (as are your cannon characters), your sub-plots/stories are intricate and complex, you write things in a way leaves the reader wondering which of the seven paths you're going to take at the end of your chapters...  brilliant.  However, if you keep ending chapters like this last one hordes of sqeeing fangirls will be converging on their local emergency rooms for anti-anxiety drugs.  Good job. Hopefully we'll be blessed with another chapter soon, because I'm dying to know what Hermione's gonna do to Voldemort (my money's on 'he's not gonna know what hit him' since the girl in question is getting a bit too Slytherin with far too few people noticing).

What a wonderful chapter - the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife... Hermione needs to just curse Morgen badly (in my opinion) and crap to go before the dark lord - this is bad. He might kill her.

Poor Professor Flitwick, his reputation will be in tatters if anyone recognized the potency potion, but being younger students they have no business knowing about them!

Goddammit  I was halfway through this chapter when I needed to see a patient! That's what happens when you read at work I suppose, but it was my lunchbreak !

thank god it wasn't hagrid. and that's all I have to say.  aside from the fact that I'd probably kill myself if i was in hermione's situation.  it's the not being able to rely on your own brain and emotions that is the scariest thing.  is there a counterspell?

perfectly done, just the right build up of tension for her and resignation to the task from him, but I wonder if she thinks it will just take the one dose of Severus to fix her  * snigger* .. once is NEVER enough !

I wonder what Voldemort wants with Hermione. I'm sure that Morgen told Voldemort that Severus chose Hermione over her, but I'm not sure what Voldemort will do about the fact. It is possible that Voldemort wants to demonstrate Hermione's need for Severus in front of his followers, but I don't know how that would punish Severus. Perhaps Voldemort is going to punish Hermione in front of Severus and sees how he reacts.I hope that Scampy meant that Severus now knows that he loves Hermione. The problem with that is that Severus will now need to hide the fact from Voldemort when he goes to his meeting.

Whilst I see that Severus is the only solution here, Dumbledore is still being extremely manipulative in getting the problem off his back without thought to the consequences for both Severus and Hermione emotionally.  He assumes that once it is all over, they will part willingly and forget it ever happened.  Yeah.. right!
