Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

One must not hex his wife, this is a very good mantra!

Thanks! I suspect it would be a sleeping-on-the-sofa offence!
The comment about the "fourth Unforgiveable" was hysterical. Very funny!
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thanks! That line was one of my own favourites in this too.
Brilliant! I loved your story! Hermione is quite the Slytherin, everyone would have known what Severus reaction to the idea of Harry and Ron having a hand in raising his child. And, the "I must not hex my wife" comment at the end, you really made my day:-)))
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thank you! Despite her manipulation, Hermione didn't give in easily. I'm pleased that you liked it so much.
Thanks for a laugh this morning! Keep up the great work.

You're welcome! I certainly hope to.
Oh wonderful! Perfect and succinct. I want more about Matilda. Great OC.

Thank you! Matilda the temperamental Kneazle is more popular than I ever imagined.
Lovely story! I enjoyed it very much.
For some bizarre reason... when Hermione was reaching under the bed, I thought it was gonna be Severus under there, haha!
And it's amusing to imagine Severus having a kneazle named Matilda for a familiar :D
Anyways, well done!

Thanks!I would hope that Severus has sufficient manners not to hide under beds, let alone scratch people. As for Matilda, I was looking around my room searching for inspiration. The Roald Dahl book was within reach.
ROFLMAO! I say that all the time here..."I must not curse my children, I must not curse the children..."I loved it, it was so cute and we still don't know how the darn creature got under Hermione's bed!marti

Thank you! Children, spouses and pets: curse free, in theory. Was it Harry or Severus? Not even I know the answer.
"Once the new mother and kittens safely ensconced in the cat bed before the fire," Are you, perhaps, missing a "were" in this line? Once the new mother and kittens were safely ensconced in the cat bed before the fire,
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Quite possibly! Keen eyes you have there. Unfortunately, fixing it would mess up the word count, as this was written as a set of 100 word drabbles. I'll see what I can do.
Funny and amusing. I love how their pets 'brought them back together' so to speak.
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thanks! If the furry monsters hadn't managed it, she'd have had to tell him about the little Granger-Snape hybrid monster eventually.
Aww. Satisfying one shot.
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thank you! Glad you think so.
“Potter and Weasley? Never! I can learn.”I just love this line.
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thanks! It's certainly a surefire way to motivate Severus.
No, you must not hex your wife. I loved the bait "Harry and Ron could be father figures" heehee.
Response from ayerf (Author of Monsters)
Thank you! I hoped that it'd be funny.
