You know, I teared up reading the part about Lucius.  I generally feel very little sympathy for him - he made his bed and quite enjoyed it, so let him sleep there - but somehow seeing the echo of Narcissa in his son really struck a chord in me.  I could feel for him.

Thank God they didn't name her Mary jane. My friend has the last name 'Plants' and thats what he wanted to name his daughter! Good thing his wife smacked him in the head!

Everything turned up roses in the  end and I think it was a great touch there in the last bit having Molly W. working at the orphanage. People always forget she's a forbidable witch (ask Bellatrix) but she always gets relinquished to the role of 'doting grandmother'. Kudos for giving her a creative place! Yes, from the beginning (for the most part) Viktor the crumb did everyone in this story a HUGE favor! Hope it still rankles him in the afterlife! Amazing story, one of my faves!

Lucius most definitely is a troublemaker, but we still love to hate and love him!

Wow! Excellent beginning. I would have guessed from the way Draco has been more solicitous to Ginny than Severus was to Hermione that they (DM/GW) would have a better start than SS/HG. Props for originality!

I agree with Southern; Firewhiskey is, to coin a phrase from Ernie Macmillan, 'Old Hat' for us drinking lags. Perhaps Lucius would be kind enough to share some of that 50 year old scotch? I wonder if it's single malt.

I can't wait to see what Snape and Malfoy have in store for those %$#@&! I can't even give words to people like that. I realise this is fiction but there is an element of truth behind every fiction to an extent and these things happen every day.

I'm not a fan of Pansy's at all but I thought that Harry going after her was really touching, the poor thing.

I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this story. I read it on another site almost a year ago, but I didn't think anyone cared about comments from a stranger-- so I didn't review.  Anyway, I now know the error of my ways and hope to make ammends as I come across stories I loved.   

I have once again enjoyed reading this wonderful story,  I have it on my list over stories that has to bee read more than once (or twicel.....:-))A brilliant piece of work!

This was absolutly lovely. (Please forgive typos, this kept me up till a quarter past five in the morning and I'm a bit knackered.) Perfectly wonderful! I thought the characters were superb. You drew out the men's sensitive sides slowly enough to keep it believeable and I ADORED the chapter names. Lucious was spot on and I cried when he and Draco discussed Narcissa. I cried like a baby. My cat now thinks I'm crazier than before. This one is truly a gem and once I've slept properly, I plan on reading a few of your other works.

Ha ha! They both had girls! Excellent read! Everyone was in character and the plot rolled along at a good click. Well done!
