My family became hooked on Harry Potter in 2001, when my son was going through a stage of reluctance to read fiction. Now it is a family hobby. I am a psychology teacher from Birmingham, England. My husband, who is Australian, is a computer programmer and network engineer. We have three teenaged children and two cats. We are all Evangelical Christians.

Thank you! And we can't get rid of Lockhart too quickly, so he is now out of the story.
I like this so much I want to review each chapter. I like that you have thought things out carefully and are adding bits in regarding Ginny's feelings , and Hermione's experience. Very well done!

I am really touched by your effort. I have always been interested in the Hermione/Ginny friendship, but canon didn't give us enough of it - and most of it was in the last two books. I am glad you "get" my writing.

,It's odd how everyone laughs at NHN's line. I didn't set out to be funny, but it seems to have amused people enormously. JKR obviously wrote him as an intrinsically amusing character, no matter what he actually says.Thank you for reviewing again,GhV
I also like the story told from Ginny's perspective. Poor thing, I imagine she must have felt awful about the whole CoS thing, too.

Definitely a Ginnyfic... although actually quite an old one, written pre-HBP. We are meant to love Ginny because Harry loves her too!Regards,GhV

There was something wrong with the response button for months, and then I dropped out of this site. But of course I'm always delighted to know that someone is reading my stories. So thank you for writing in.
I enjoyed that very much. I haven't really paid alot of attention to Ginny before but your view of her makes alot of sense at that age. I also liked Hermione's confidence about Ron & Molly's stories. You have a talent for storytelling.

Thanks very much! It's so flattering that this old story is still being read. I write Hermione easily (she is a caricature of me) but I have more trouble hitting off Ginny. Yet Ginny is probably the more interesting character.
