"On prasher and mancer and lancer and fixin’
On vomit and stupid and conner and ditzen.”

Your poem had me laughing out loud, and my favorite part was the reindeer's names!

You know, that was really funny!  I absolutely loved the last line especially!

Response from great greasy git (Author of Santa Gets Tipsy)

I'm glad you liked it :)

The last line was actually the inspiration for the whole poem.  I just really really really wanted to put Santa on the "naughty list" and concoted the story as a *clean* way to do so.

Oh, that was so good ... especially the play on the reindeers' names!

Response from great greasy git (Author of Santa Gets Tipsy)

Thank you!

I actually did this one as part of a highschool poetry project last year, and when I read it out to my classmates the reindeer names made someone choke.  they's powerful magic, they is.

THAT was hilarious. It made me *squee!* Hee! Really awesome poem. You have a talent ... quite a talent.

Do you mind if ... maybe ... I could send this to people in Christmas cards this year? I will definitely credit you as the authoress of the poem. Your name will be written below the poem, etc, etc. If not, that's perfectly fine. I just want to say, though, that this was incredibly entertaining. What a great read!

Response from great greasy git (Author of Santa Gets Tipsy)

I'm Super glad you liked the poem.

And I'm so thrilled that you want to send it out in Christmas cards, you're more than welcome to. Just so long as no-one tries to make a pretty penny off my work, the more people that read and enjoy, the happier I am.

So spread the Drunken Santa Cheer!

Thanks for a glowing review =D and if you are ever so inclined to read some other originals of mine (mostly funny stuff) mosey on over here... http://www.fictionpress.com/~mayapaigeturnerI'm rather fond of "How to Seduce Women" myself

~Kiara

(p.s. thanks again for r&r-ing)

(p.p.s incase you were wondering, maya paige turner -- my page turner... yes that's me trying to be clever *sigh*)
