Oh yes a very unexpected twist, but very cool. I'd wondered if the similarites you had written about were there for a reason, as well as why Andromeda looked so much like Hermione as well.I love this story. It started off just breaking my heart, but its taking a romantic turn. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.I hope he accepts what Samantha said.

I really like your story so far. Dramatic, sad and romantic at the same time.
Samantha Cole wasn't inspired by the TV series Charmed by any chance? She looks completely different, I just thought I'd ask anyway.
Oh, and it's anima, or animae in your case, instead of aminae for soul in latin. It's one of the few things I still remember from Latin studies. :)

Poor Severus - but Hermione's right, he does have Andromeda. I'm sure she'll go a long way to helping him heal. Poor Hermione as well - she lost a sister figure, and she has to watch the man she loves suffer. As well as watch her "sister" and the man she loves daughter (mostly I think that would hurt because she'd wish Andromeda was hers).I can't wait to see what you do with this story. it's very interesting to see a different side of Severus and see him portrayed as a gentle and caring person. It really doesn"t matter if it's canon or not if the story is unusal and well done as is yours.

I love this story, the idea that Prof Snape was married and had a child at the time of the final battle. It is wonderfully written and Hermione's conversation with Andromeda about her mummy being with the Angels brought a tear to my eye - extremely well done. I can't wait to see where you go with the story - hopefully it will end up a severus/hermione romance ... fingers crossed!!

Andromeda is around six, so this story is terribly AU. I know, sometimes she comes off younger, but I think that's because she spends so much time with Grampa Albus! ~The Mistress

I should make you wait to find that out, you know... Andromeda was born the year after Hermione graduated. Samantha and Severus married during Hermione's 7th year (but don't tell anyone I told you that!). ~The Mistress

I really liked writing Andromeda. She's quite a spitfire, isn't she? I kind of put my favorite qualities of Hermione and Severus into her. In my mind, Samantha (his wife) was a lot like Hermione, so it made sense that she acted a bit like her. I hope to have a new chapter up as soon as possible. Thanks for reading! ~themistresssnape
