I liked all the character moments for Snape - he joins the Death Eater raid, but he does his best to subvert it and shows concern for Minerva, and his reaction to finding the photo of Lily. I'm not surprised that he doesn't like parties and considers them "torture".McGonnagal's changing responses were interesting, too - at first she feels betrayed, but realizes that Snape is still Dumbledore's agent and made a lot of noise in the raid while actually saving lives - definitely a dangerous position, given the presence of Death Eaters who are much more ruthless than Snape is, and I'm not surprisedshe picked up some grudging admiration for him. I liked her interactions with Albus, too, and how he offers to lend her his Pensieve. This wasa great piece. Excellent work!
