Even though the Battle of Hogwarts is won, Hermione feels that everything has been lost. Can she make things right? Or is she meddling with a fixed point in time that cannot be changed? Rating for later chapters.

great start to your story, I'm already wanting to know what happened in the woods with Hermione that makes her so determined to save Snape as well as the others. Curious also if she can alter Malfoy's opinions of muggleborn people as well. please update soon!

Thank you so much for the update, you really made my day when I got the notice about the update. I have said before that I love this story, and this chapter enforces that even more:-)) As much as I want this to be a Hermione/Severus story, I do find, at least at the moment, that I want for Lucius to find some happiness too. He might do something to change that at some point, but at the moment I do care for Lucius too. I am really looking forward for the next update.
I'm so sorry that Severus had to put up with Sirius' vicious attack, but I'm glad that both Hermione and Ron have had ample proof that Sirius is a psycopath if not outright insane.
And Severus knows her name, and that she and that red-head boy know about things that they supposedly had no way of knowing.
This story keeps getting better and better!

Smashing! This looks like it's going to be a great yarn, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Nice to see that this fandom is still kicking, too. I have to admit to a fondness for time turner fics, and having Ron along on the jaunt is a new take on an old staple. Thing is, originality isn't even that important if the writing is good, and your writing is stellar. Thanks for this!

I love time turner fics! It's nice to see one with Ron being snapped back in time with her. It's a first to see her in a new time with a friend.

Yes. I thought this was a chance for Hermione and Ron to grow as friends, because I refuse to believe that they ended up together romantically. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't happen. ~The Mistress

Yippy! Me too! Me too! But I don't just hope, I know you can write the stories we like again. This is a scarey great start. So many things could go wrong, but Hermione saving Severus is the thing that keeps us coming back for more. 
“Do not. Lie. To me.” What a great line to use here. 8^)It breaks my heart for Hermione to be feeling so badly physically and emotionally. Ron is doing his best to be there for her, but I believe it's causing him heartache because he remembered when "she'd looked at him that way… once."I wonder how Lucius will fit into what is going on with Severus... seems like he doesn't quite know what to make of his friend and the girls he is drawn to.Thanks for a wonderful chapter!Beth

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Lucius is... complicated. Usually, I write Lucius as he comes off in the books. Vain, shallow, and evil. But I began to wonder if there wasn't more to him than that. And this version of Lucius kind of came about from that line of thinking. ~The Mistress

Before reading the nex chapter, I reread this one and picked up on something that I didn't notice when I first read it:There was darkness, the smell of pine and wet leaves. A ripple of wind and the snap of snow and ice. Something silver flickered through the trees ahead of her, followed by a silent black shadow. Her heart lifted, pounding against her ribs. She caught the scent of what Amortentia smelled like to her… freshly mown grass, new parchment, spearmint toothpaste, and the potions classroom. The scent wafted off a deep black cloak.In and of itself, that passage could have referred to just about any of a thousand times Hermione had seen Professor Snape storming about Hogwarts or the grounds...but then I read this:The memory wavered and disappeared. Hermione let out a wail and tried to reach for the retreating thoughts. Ron, sitting on the bed across from her, felt his heart twist with sadness for Hermione. She had buried herself in the bed, hiding her face in the pillows and sobbing with silent cries. Something had happened in those months while Harry and Hermione had gone through the Forest of Dean without him. Something that had changed Hermione in a way that he could never understand or explain. And Severus Snape was right in the thick of it in some way that Ron could never quite pin down. Brilliant!!! The penny dropped, and I understood just how important this little detail is! I'm so glad I decided to refresh my memory before going onto the next chapter.

Love it! I eagerly await the next update. I don't think I've ever read a timeturner story quite like it. Looks like trouble will be up ahead if Lucius gets involved.

There are so many avenues for plots and subplots to carry these characters to any number of places:•I can see Sirius eventually getting on James' last nerve.•James finding himself a little bit drawn to Hermione. •Where would that leave Lily?•If James is attracted to Hermione, would Sirius try to move in on Lily?•Would Snape find that Lily was still partial to him instead of James?•Would Ron meet his parents when they were students at Hogwarts?This is a very interesting story with an apparently endless number of complications for our characters to have to work their way through. I'm looking forward to your next update!Beth

I am completely hooked. Your Sirius deserves a good telling off, and punishment, hopefully Hermione will be able to help with that. I liked that James wasn't that big of a prat, and while Ron most often aint' my favorite, it is unusual for him to with Hermione to the past, and if you only keep all romance far away from him and Hermione, I will be happy to see how Ron handle this. Ron the friend I like, Ron the potential/wannabe lover, give me allergic reactions that can make me stop reading any story:-)) Am I right to assume that there was a connection between Hermione and Severus before the battle? I am really looking forward to read more.

OH SHIT!!! what are they going to do now, they can do all sorts of damage. They could prevent James and Lily from getting together, and no Harry.
