Reviews for Visiting Hours
I think this need to be a new sshg genre: Snape visits Hermione in jail. This is delightful. I know it's a one-shot and it works fine, but it is unusual and I am used to reading a lot of similar plots over and over again and so I long for more... :)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It actually started off as a sub chapter for a longer story.
Beautifully heart wrenching writing and a narrative flow (and final twist) that leaves one aching (in the best possible way). Lovely, lovely story.

When I started reading this, I guessed it was going to be Hermione who was imprisoned, only because you are an author who thinks outside the box, and it is something you would do. But, I got so sucked in while reading, that you had me picturing it with Severus as prisoner. I completely forgot my original thought because every single sentence was said in just the right way to seem as though it was him. Not to mention the fact that I am so wrapped up in it, hanging on every word, that I forget to try and figure out what is going on. Very well done, even if I got a little teary in the process of reading.

Thank you so much - what an amazing compliment to receive! I'm really glad it took you to a different place than expected, then deposited you right back where you thought you were going in the first place. Thank you for always being so supportive and encouraging!

It is not the inprisonment, that is so heartbreaking, it's the separataion. If there was nolonger any hope of release, Severus would find a way to insure, that they would be together, in death.

Thank you - that was exactly what I was trying to convey. If they didn't have hope, he'd smuggle in a fast-acting potion and down one himself. He wouldn't allow her to continue to suffer. But because they have that slim shred of hope, they torment themselves like this each week. I had originally written this as part of a larger story arc, but as time has gone by and things have happened in the other story, I just don't think I could put them through this again.

Wow. Just...wow. Unexpected, to say the least...a clever plot twist like that is a sign of a good writer. You do realize, I trust, that your story positively begs for an explanation of what led her to this?

Thank you - I do have an inkling of where this goes in the arc of a another story I'm writing, but I haven't decided yet if it's just too much to put our couple through again - I don't know if I'm that cruel! ;) Thank you, though, for your lovely comments.

WOW! Powerful and unexpected. Great but a heartwrenching place to end it. Is there more? Does she ever get out? Why is she there? Wonderful job.

I have given a lot of thought as to the larger story arc this could take place within, but I don't know if I have the heart to put them through all that anguish again - just doing this little drabble nearly killed me! Thank you for your wonderful comments.

I know this is a one shot, but everytime I read it I hope that one day you will have Hermione released....

Oh, bless your tender heart! In my head-canon, she does, if that helps any.

Very moving and so not what I expected. Interesting turn and I wonder what she has done to land herself in Azkaban?
Powerful, horrific, terrible, and painful. Which is meant as a compliment, to be sure. It brought tears to my eyes. Hope can be such a bitch at times.
I know you have a bit of a sad ending thing at times, but this one is just devastating. I feel like someone needs to come along and write the sequel to make it all right for them, but this is just so believable, horribly, perfectly complete already.I've read it so often and it still makes me a bit sniffly.

So painful...the twist at the end did surprise me. Artfully done. So sad. It is a 5 star crafted story. It is too sad to enjoy. I did read it twice through.

Thank you. You will note that the longer my fics, the better the chances are for a happy ending! ;)
