Great chapter.  Was expecting the explaination of Snape's behavior and you didn't disappoint.

Nice tension.  Nice Snarky Snape.  And Draco in all his blonde glory.  I'm happy.

I can not say if I've read this before or not.  It's not you, it's my swiss cheese like memory (good side, I can reread things 'like new').  Having said that, I nearly squeed when I realized this was a Marriage Law fic (a not so secret guilty pleasure).  I so look forward to reading this and hope to leave you many fangirl reviews.  Until then....

I really like your Draco.  He is much nicer and more carefree than in canon, but circumstances have changed, and there is no telling what he would grow up to be.  I do think that his prank was necessary to get everyone thinking.  Perhaps noone wants to be the first.As for Hermione, well, I won't say anything to ruin the story for those who have not read it, but I was screaming things at her in my head, willing her to make good choices.  I know how this ends, so I need to chill out.  Apparently this still gets me riled up on re-read, lol.I'll be looking for more soon.  *nudges you*

I am IN LOVE with this story! I have done nothing but read this for the past two days. Even when I was supposed to be working. SS/HG isn't my normal ship, but I came across this one, and I couldn't resist. I am so delighted I did. The story is so well crafted and so in character, I was consistantly amazed. I am so glad this was reposted so I could come across this. Keep up the amazing work, and I know if you haven't been published yet, you will be.

I think at this point someone has got to be realizing how poorly conceived the marriage law is given the small pool of folks. Not saying it's a horrible idea, just that even version 2 has some glaring deficiencies. That's so funny that Snape was the one she had applied to work for. Poor Hermione. Given her limited choices, Draco might be the best choice of the lot.

Oh, my dear, this is one of my most favorite chapters in fandom.  It was with exquisite emotion that I read and relived this part.  When Severus summoned the courage to take that single dose of Exostraserum I felt such joy because I just knew that he would finally find freedom from doubt and I celebrated the courage it must have taken for him to take such a step. 

And now I suspect all hell is going to break loose.  Sending lots of chocolate and tea!

I remember this chapter as such a heartwarming one, and I still feel that way.  Severus' anonymous generosity to enable Neville to search for Luna is so sweet and indicative of why Hermione has fallen in love with him.  I hope their spending the night together won't be found out by Cordelia.  I don't think she'd take very kindly to that... at all.

Now I'm off to find out what the next chapter has in store.  Thank you so much for reposting this story.  It makes my heart happy.

I'm so glad Severus has realized his feelings for Hermione, even though he had to take a potion. Now he can figure out what he wants to do in regards to Cordelia and his marriage.

Excellent chapter -- like everyone else, I'm dyyyyyyying to know what Cordelia will do. I'm thinking she'll deny Severus the divorce, and Lance (and maybe Theo) will step in on their behalf. Looking forward to seeing more! :)
