Three years have passed since the defeat of the Dark Lord, and Hermione Granger has returned to Hogwarts alone and broken hearted. The Golden Trio splintered after the victory and Hermione has been alone and drowning in studying abroad. Upon her return to Hogwarts, she must face the man she hasn't seen since her graduation and learn if he could ever forgive her for the pain she dealt him those years ago. Can they learn to trust each other or will their pain and pride get in the way?

I'll probably opt to take a few finals early so I can get on with a bit of a break before Summer Term. I'm working on Chapter 10 now, hope it's just as good! ~themistresssnape

Yay! They met each other! I was afraid they were going to be "ships in the night" and miss each other. Glad she left that wedding; the sight of Ron and his "date" was too much. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the new chapter! Umm.... I think I know why the page insists on being so wide - it's the URL you have for the photos. They start off:
http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images
and keep going... and going... and going... until the page has to be wide just to accommodate the URL. Not sure if there's a way around it, though.

Okay, I don't think that I reviewed this when I read it last week because of my poorly behaved children. I was very excited to see this new chapter. And you called me a tease! *sobs* I love this story! You are doing an excellent job with the emotions of Hermione and Severus. My heart goes out to both of them while also being very frustrated with both of them. They need to get together already! I look forward to the next update and will keep my fingers crossed the University stays settled down enough to allow you to write. :)
