Some elves get hooked on watching reruns of the great detectives, an investigation into the dodgy breeding of pedigree Crups leads Hermione and Severus into Lucius Malfoy's bed via the bath, Severus goes back to Hogwarts to retrieve his wand, Delilah Derwent, bastion of pure-blood aristocracy, arrives with her Knickers under one arm to play hanky-panky with Malfoy's Magic Wand, a Crup goes bad and some left-over Death Eaters get their comeuppance. Oh, and of course, Severus gets his just desserts.

I'm really enjoying this story. I like the way both Severus and Lucius are interacting with Hermione. And the elves are by far my favorite, they are hilarious.

Love the title. Not a big fan of the books, but the titles are a hoot. I like Winky as Miss Marple, but you don't have a Hercule Poirot or a Lord Peter. What about a Roderick Allyn? I can give you a lot of suggestions. *grin* A Peter Gunn? How about a Honey West? ^_^

Whew! Good thing Bella is only a portrait and that her henchmen are dumb as dirt. Otherwise, they might have been toast. Oh, and I love Rose. She is going to cause so much trouble! This was a fun, fun read.

I think dueling wizards are rather sexy. Apparently Hermione agrees."Meanwhile," Lucius said loudly, "the elegant wizard with the very large prick is wondering when you'll finish insulting yourselves. I'm aware that this is your idea of fore-play, but I find the bickering rather off-putting." *giggles*I love how each pair of them share little things that the other one doesn't. Like Severus and Hermione both know Shakespeare, and Lucius and Hermione are both aware of the extreme lack of self confidence that Severus possesses, and Lucius and Severus have a history that doesn't include Hermione. Its fun to see their shared glances and such.And then things start to get steamy ... sigh. Off for more.

I love how all three think that they can outsmart one another, but no one is really coming out on top. Well, perhaps Hermione does have a bit of an edge. :) This is funny and intriguing all at once.

This is excellent work. I can't help but feel rather jealous of our dear Hermione. The description of the kiss between Snape and Malfoy is very hot. I love a bit of SS/LM and you seem to have got the sparring and understanding that would happen between old friends perfectly.
